The worst thing that could happen to any supercar owner is to get their car destroyed. Tony, the operations director of Royalty Exotic Cars, might just be having the worst week after he got the news that their brand-new Ferrari F8 Tributo rental was damanged on its first gig.

“Brand new car F8 Ferrari F8 Tributo probably 300 miles on it apparently has a couple of blown-out wheels, couple of bent wheels, the passenger airbags deployed on a one-vehicle accident,” Tony explained.

This is not the first crash Tony has dealt with before. About a week ago, one of their Lamborghini rentals was involved in a collision. There were multiple injuries. This time, however, the Ferrari driver only had a banged-up face from the airbags deploying.

Ferrari F8 Tributo had less than 1,000 miles on it

Tony and his team get a truck and head over to the crash site. They have to pick up the Ferrari’s key from the client who’s taken it with him even though the car was immobile. They meet up with him and request a statement for the insurance company.

“I am sorry about this headache. Guys, can I not be filmed?” The client requests.

Soon after, he explains the events that led to the crash. He explains that there was a rock on the road, and he went over it with the front driver’s side. He noticed the rock but didn’t have enough time to react. He went to the side and hit a little bit of the curb. He explains that a lot of the damage is on the underbody.

"I’m just so pissed off about it. I’m really sorry about this. The speed I was going at that time probably was less than 45 mph. I am sure you guys have your V-box or whatever,” The client said.

After the meet up, they head over to Las Vegas Boulevard, where the crash happened.

When they get to the site, they find the F8 Tributo with the hazards still on. At first glance, there’s visible damage on the front splitter, bent front and rear wheels, a ripped-off fender, and bumper.

“I’m guessing a lot of the damage is undercarriage because the side airbag went off in here,” Tony revealed. “This car has every option so, it’s going to be a pretty hefty claim.”

The team inspects the highway, and they piece together what happened. They speculate he probably didn’t hit a stone, but rather a curb. They also pick the ripped-off Ferrari fender liner next to the curb.

When they get to the shop and put the car on the lifter, they realize the damage is way worse than they thought. The Ferrari has a crack on the frame from the crash. Also, they figure out the client must have been going faster than 45 mph to get that kind of damage on the supercar.
