AC Schnitzer is a German tuner company that specializes in modifying BMWs and making them even more bold and powerful. They have all sorts of experience including with the 1 Series and even the X range of cars, adding extra levels of performance to all of them. Now, they have taken on the very different styled BMW M4 to add their fine touches to the model. The design features tweaks to the exterior and interior while also adding a nice chunk of performance to an already sporty car.

AC Schnitzer Aims For More Distinction With The 4-Series

Schnitzer says that “with the tuning range for the BMW 4 Series, AC Schnitzer makes an even clearer distinction possible.” The grille might be the one thing many people will hope changes, but that will remain the same. However, there will be plenty of changes.

Schnitzer has added their own front splitter to the car while also adding brand new side skirts to enhance the aesthetics of that front end and side appearance. A rear roof spoiler also comes as part of the package, adding a subtle yet elegant level of sportiness that will aid in downforce.

New Wheel Colors Pop-Out Among The Blue

via AC Schnitzer

Who doesn’t love a good change of wheels? Well, AC Schnitzer has certainly got you covered here. AC is providing their AC1 wheels available either in bicolor or anthracite colors. These can take either 19 or 21-inch tires, and they are packed nicely and tightly under the wheel arches. The bicolor alloys really pop out amongst the blue that is present on the AC Schnitzer show car. Perhaps the biggest change, though, is what has taken place under the hood of the M4.

Four-Cylinder Engine Receives A Performance Boost

via AC Schnitzer

Schnitzer has given the four-cylinder engine a really nice boost in performance. The company has not released any performance figures, however, with the AC Schnitzer upgrades, the 430i now produces 300 hp while the M440i xDrive will now produce 420 hp. Sports suspension and a spring kit are also available for the 4-series range of BMWs, the ride height of the car being lowered by around 30mm to really hunker down onto those brand new wheels.
