Adam LZ impresses once more with his shenanigans on and off the track, with a video documenting a day (and night) spent drifting JDM cars, with a stint at the Ebisu circuit in Japan.

It’s fall Matsuri time (Matsuri is a type of festival or celebration tradition) and Adam along with his Toyota Cresta and girlfriend Collete Davis get some quality time drifting on some of the most exciting and sketchy pieces of the track yet in some cool cars.

The automotive YouTuber Adam LZ paints a cool picture throughout the video against a beautiful backdrop of the local Japanese countryside and happy spectators and competitors.

Adam’s beat-up white Toyota Cresta, which actually looks all the more awesome for the stickers, dirt, fluorescent wheels, and paint, provides the thrills on the track next to Collete’s pink sedan which is missing a rear bumper.

There’s some behind-the-scenes stuff and the duo are then off on the track for some drifting which includes some close-up tandem work on the sketchy track. Due to a landslide, a new banked corner got added to the circuit too. In attendance is a wide range of cool cars including show cars like the Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R, among others.

Some of the moments prove that Adam is still warming up to the track, but some great control and cool drifts show his acquired skill, along with that of Collete in the unmistakable bright pink car.

Adam LZ And Collete Go JDM Drifting At Midnight

When the sun goes down, a few lights come on, but in general, the track is still dimly lit when it comes to nighttime. It makes for a fascinating watch as the drivers continue to enjoy the same corners at night, with scenes that are straight out of a driving video game.

Drifting is a respected form of motorsport, and it has many legions of fans around the world, with Japan being a hub for this style of driving. Driving at night isn’t Adam’s first choice, but he finds out quickly that it’s not so bad. The rest of the video includes some great in-car footage of a moody, dim track that becomes home to some sideways action courtesy of the Toyota Cresta and many others.

Car fan Adam LZ serves up another slice of entertainment so that less fortunate fans can vicariously live the same experience through Adam’s lens.
