How Did The Incident Happen?

The incident took place in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in Baise City. The video shows that the bus inflames without any external influence. The fire from the wind spreads very quickly to nearby similar electric buses and garbage cans.

According to the video record, the fire happened at 6:27 am. There is no data on the victims. Apparently, the cabins of all the buses were empty.

Unfortunately, so far, such cases with electric vehicles are not so rare, which means they are not that good as you might think. Battery manufacturers are trying to make them as reliable as possible, but the technology isn't perfect.

For example, in January, a similar incident occurred, which also happened in China. The owner brought Chery Arrizo E for charging, but at some point, the car started to smoke. Someone from the passers-by, seeing this, called the firefighters, who were just nearby. They doused the electric car with water from the hoses.
