With an estimated income of $150 million a year, a net worth of around $240 million and a love of cars and status symbols, what do you get? If you’re Kanye West then the answer is an insane car collection.
West boasts an incredibly diverse collection of automobiles, ranging from his hideous beige wrap 2018 Lamborghini Urus, to his windscreen-less bug-eating 2009 Mercedes-Benz SLR Stirling Moss, to his 2013 Dartz Prombron Red Diamond Edition fully bulletproof armored SUV, which cost $2.2 million. Wait. A slight mistake on that last one. It should say $4.4 million. Because he bought two of them. A his and a hers.
With a collection like that, we could spend around 10,000 words talking about all the vehicles owned by this iconic figure, but today we'll limit our focus to a few of his most high-performance rides and what they have to offer.

2009 Mercedes-Benz SLR Stirling Moss – A supercharged 5.4-liter V8 engine pushes the horsepower of this vehicle up to 650, with 604 pounds of torque the rear-wheel drive 5-speed automatic transmission supercar does 0-60 in a brief 3.5 seconds and has a maximum speed of 217 miles per hour.
2014 Bugatti Veyron – A turbocharged 8-liter W16 engine puts out a massive 1,001 horsepower with 922 pounds of torque, enabling this insanely high-performance all-wheel drive 7-speed automatic to go from 0-60 in a blink of 2.5 seconds before the car continues to surge up to a maximum of 253 miles per hour.
Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren – A supercharged 5.4-liter V8 engine produces 617 horsepower, along with 575 pounds of torque the rear-wheel drive 5-speed automatic sports car is able to go from 0-60 in 3.6 seconds and reach up to 208 miles per hour.
Price Tags
More money has gone into the car collection of Mr. West than most people will see in a lifetime. The combined cost of these four supercars upon their release came to nearly $7 million. To put that into perspective if you wanted to buy a private jet you could get a 2000 Hawker 800XP 8-passenger plane with a cabin length of 21 feet and width of 6 feet for under $2.5 million. You could then use the money left over to buy a 2,210 square foot, three-bedroom, 3 bath penthouse condominium in New York City for $4.5 million.
2013 Lamborghini Aventador LP 770-4 - Purchased for West by his then girlfriend, now wife, Kim Kardashian back in 2012 as a 35th birthday present the car set her back $750,000.
2009 Mercedes-Benz SLF Stirling Moss – With an original price tag of $1.95 million a recent sale of one of these models went for over $5.8 million.
2014 Bugatti Veyron – This Bugatti supercar set the rapper back a bit with a price tag of $3.54 million.
Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren – Relatively cheap when compared to some of the vehicles mentioned before, this supercar only set the icon back a cool half-million.
Rare Creatures
In the six-year span in which these four vehicles were produced there was a grand total of 347,487,267 cars produced worldwide. The total number of units built of these 4 models was under 5,000 making up about 0.0014% of all cars produced during that time.
2013 Lamborghini Aventador LP 770-4 – A rare beauty with just over 1,100 units produced.
2009 Mercedes-Benz SLR Stirling Moss – An ultra-rare vehicle with only 75 units ever built, this is the most uncommon of the supercars in West’s garage.
2014 Bugatti Veyron – Only 450 Bugatti Veyron’s were sold in the 10 years that the iconic supercar was in production.
Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren – Common by comparison with these other vehicles over 2,000 units of this supercar were sold.
Remember that these supercars only make up a small sampling of the vehicles possessed by this music icon (although quite possibly the coolest sampling).
