The Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance is here, and the event is teeming with rare and elegant cars. One of the confirmed cars in attendance is this ultra-rare Lamborghini Countach. As to why this Countach is one of a kind, John Temerian of We Are Curated is more than willing to reveal the reasons.

An Edition Celebrating 25 Years Of Countach

Lamborghini’s Countach is an icon and a legend. Nevertheless, it is not precisely an ultra-rare creation. But that changes when taking various details into consideration, including the exact model, model year, and the specs that went into the Countach. For this certain Lambo, though, there’s more that makes it an ultra-rare Countach. According to John, this is a unicorn – a never-before-seen 1-of-1 Countach with insane specs.

This certain model is a 25th Anniversary Edition Countach, which Lamborghini launched in 1988. In total, the carmaker built just 657 examples of the Anniversary Edition Countach — also known as the Countach Anniversario — between September 1988 and April 1990. Restyled considerably by Horacio Pagani, all anniversary models are mechanically similar to the Countach 5000QV. The anniversary edition boasted more than 500 updates and enhancements over the 5000QV, thereby making this version the most refined Countach ever.

As per John, the 25th Anniversary Edition Countach features insane specs. This is one of the Countach models with the European spec engine – a 5.2-liter V12 engine employing six Weber carburetors (also called Downdraft engine). It can deliver 449 hp of max output and 369 lb-ft of peak torque. This Countach also came with a lot of modifications to signify its special status.

What further makes this Amelia Island-bound Countach Anniversario extremely rare is its Tahiti Blue exterior, and according to John, only four models after 1985 have this paint finish. Moreover, this is the only Tahiti Blue Countach model with a bright red interior. All elements are original, including its tires and interior, as well as the wires and the screws.

Never Registered With Only 187 Miles On Odometer

Adding to the rarity of this Countach Anniversario is the fact that the owner (who bought it new) never had it titled or registered. So far, the car only had traveled 187 miles. In the video, We Are Curated was having the car detailed for the Amelia Island event. The owner had never shown the car to the public until the Concours d'Elegance, where it should sport a new set of floor mats from Keith Collins.
