APEX has officially unveiled its all-electric supercar concept, the AP-0. The lightweight EV was unveiled in London in March and looks to bring the racetrack to the street. Completely street legal, the vehicle was inspired by race cars and uses advanced technology and futuristic aerodynamics to better connect the driver with their car.

Made from a carbon-fiber tub with modular spaceframes and carbon fiber body panels that wrap around the body, the AP-0 is a super lightweight car. The British automaker kept aerodynamics at the forefront when creating the vehicle’s angular front, which helps channel air under the wheels, below the car and out the large diffuser located in the rear.

The AP-0 has a floor mounted 90kW battery that helps give the vehicle its low center of gravity. The car is capable of hitting 190 mph and possesses 650 horsepower as well as 580 Nm of torque. Making things even more impressive is that the car in total weighs just 2,645 pounds, which allows it to speed from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.3 seconds. Add to that the EV’s range of 320 miles, and you’re looking at what is truly one of the most elite electric supercars that’ll be hitting the market in the not too distant future.
