If 2020 was a sign of more morbid things to come, you won't find a shortage of mobile solutions ready to take on whatever global catastrophe awaits us. Automakers have come up with vehicles that can repel everything from bullets to zombies, while others are not only armored but tracked to the teeth. Not to be outdone, Florida-based and appropriately-named automaker Apocalypse Manufacturing announced Wednesday the rollout of its latest doom-beating dreadnought dubbed the Hellfire.

This Hellfire Can Blast Out At Least 500 Horsepower

The big reveal took place at Miami's Aventura Mall as onlookers gawked at the monster mechanical marvel perched on six wheels. It so impressed Dodgers pitcher Yadier Álvarez that he bought the Hellfire on the spot and drove off in it. Given his defection from Cuba in 2015, it's probably a given that Álvarez is no stranger to danger, and the Hellfire likely suited his needs.

Maybe he was impressed by the truck's Kevlar exterior and a roll-and-lock fastback for secure storage. Quite possibly it might have been the 6.2-liter V8 LS3 Corvette engine that can churn out 500 horsepower. Those with more muscle on the brain can get similar models boasting supercharged 6.2-liter V8 Hellcat engines capable of delivering up to 707 horsepower. But both feature a unique mechanical middle axle that distributes all that power to all six wheels.

Eight-Speed Transmission and Loads Of Armor

Naturally, performance isn't enough to ward off those doomsday demons, which is why the Hellcat also includes an intense eight-speed automatic transmission, quarter-inch bumper and windshield armor, an eight-foot truck bed, a suspension system that can handle heavy loads, 10-ply 40-inch tires, and a rearview camera mirror display.

You can also cruise through all that carnage in comfort, thanks to a floor-to-ceiling leather interior, push-button start, state-of-the-art navigation, and a full-blown entertainment array that include a Premium Audio system, Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth.

Or Try The Doomsday And Sinister 6

Apocalypse also has in stock two other models: the Doomsday and the Sinister 6. After 15 years in the business, the company has sold a grand total of 40 vehicles, all with price tags that could drive average folks into an economic extinction. The Hellcat, for example, goes for at least $150,000.

What isn't clear is whether Apocalypse has a monthly payment plan or if it wants to be paid in full upfront—just in case the end of the world takes place before a Hellfire account is finally settled.
