By now, most of you have probably seen countless videos of virtually every make, model, and class of vehicle in a race of some sort. When it comes to drag racing, as long as two or more cars are fairly comparable in weight and power, it's fair game. That said, the guys over at carwow put the Aston Martin DBX 707 against the Bentley Flying Spur in the ultimate drag race to see which British beauty gets the crown.

Before delving into the specs of each, it's important to note that both the Aston Martin DBX and Bentley Flying Spur boast British opulence and design paired with advanced German engineering. The results? A royal finish to what many of us would call a race fit for a king, or queen.

Drag Race: An SUV Like No Other Vs A Groundbreaking Luxury Sedan

Mat Watson of carwow sits inside a new Aston Martin DBX 707, and next to him is a Bentley Flying Spur W12. The DBX 707 is the most powerful and quickest four-door Aston Martin you can buy, and the Flying Spur is the most powerful and quickest four-door Bentley you can buy in Europe (since you cannot get the Bentayga Speed there because of emissions).

First things first, though, as Mat and Sam go head-to-head, they warm up the engines with some pedal-to-the-metal revving (despite the disappointing soft limiters) and warm up their tires, too, with some pavement art.

It weighs in at just over 4,400 lbs and costs around 190,000 GPB or 232,010 USD.

Spoiler Alert: While the Bentley did have a nice start in the first race, it seemingly had no chance against the incredible launch from the Aston Martin. On the second try, the DBX appeared to have a minor hiccup upon starting, and the two finished much closer. In the third round, Mat enjoyed a perfect launch in his Aston Martin DBX and completely “destroyed” the Bentley Flying Spur, as per Sam's exact words. However, when the duo resorted to a rolling race at 50 mph in both manual and automatic mode, the results were quite different!
