Key West, Florida, is home to some of the most insane car meets for car enthusiasts. Randy from YouTube channel Savage Garage attended the Key West Cars and Coffee event and caught an astounding 1,250 HP Audi R8 fitted with parts from an airplane.

Steal The Show With Airplane Parts

There were many thrilling cars at the Key West Cars and Coffee Event, including a 1971 Barracuda and a 200-HP Kia Forte GT Commuter sedan, a Ford Mustang off-roader, and a red MK4 Supra. But the main attraction was a 1,250-HP Audi R8 with airplane parts.

The Audi R8 is not an inexpensive car by any means. You will need six figures in your bank account and thousands of dollars for maintenance fees to keep it running. The V10 motor is also included behind the seats, rated at 602 horsepower in stock form, but it doesn't look nearly as powerful as the spec sheet.

Whatsoever, the Audi R8 is a supercar that is easy to use on a daily basis. Although it's not as fast as the 911 Turbo or has as much visible drama as the Huracan, it's still a mighty machine that can attain 60 mph in 3.2 seconds. You can also rip up a deserted highway at more than 200 mph (not to mention that we wouldn't favor such a thing if it didn't have the correct protocols). The tame exterior will attract 2-liter JDMs buzzing around your ears before you smash the pedal to the ground.

The XCEL Racing R8 comes with 1,250 HP and plane bits. If you don't know much about the car, this statement might lead you to believe the R8 will propel from 0 to 60 mph in less than 2 seconds. In reality, it has more body add-ons and aesthetic engine clamps. Don't get too excited.

It is an excellent build and currently runs at around 15 psi of boost. Heavy kitting is there with the low-slung R8 and a low-hung tag plate design. The owner won't detail mods as people rarely reveal the truth at a car meet. Randy and the Savage Garage crew had a lot of fun at the event, and even took some rolling shots while going to lunch.
