Ferrari, Lamborghini, and McLaren are some of the most desirable nameplates in the automotive world. With their sleek lines, blistering performance, and stratospheric price tags, these supercars have an allure of precision and finesse. Unfortunately, the same can't be said of their drivers. All too often, a fat bank account doesn't translate into either wisdom, experience behind the wheel, or restraint. And the last couple days has been a doozy. Let's check out the latest supercar hijinx on the world's roads.

Drunk Aussie Ferrari 599 Crash

The first one on the docket is courtesy of a drunk Ferrari 599 owner who piloted his prancing horse through the window of a Sydney jewelry store. Bystanders on the scene reported that the Ferrari was swerving erratically before skidding into the storefront and "narrowly missing" a family of three. Thankfully, no major injuries were reported with the exception of a mildly injured woman fleeing the incident. A field breathalyzer test was administered to the driver with a reading of 0.107. He was with cited for "mid-range drink driving, driving with a suspended license, and dangerous driving." He's due to appear in court next month.

California Supercar Chase

Next up in California is a wild game of car tag between a McLaren 600LT and two Lamborghini Aventadors weaving in and out of traffic and driving in excess of 100 mph. After a concerted effort by CHIPs and local authorities, the cars were all pulled over and issued several citations including for driving at an excessive speed. And no, you can't outrun the radio!

And Another Ferrari Crash!

And lastly, also in California, is the crash of a Ferrari F430 "into the window of celebrity hot spot PUMP in West Hollywood after the driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle." No injuries were reported and police are still investigating. The same, however, can't be said of the Ferrari which will need a a new front clip at the very least and a major detailing - and I do mean major! Well, it just goes to show that a supercar and a driver's license doesn't make you super, so buckle up!
