Few places in the world are the supercar haven that Dubai is. The city is rife with dealerships selling these cars. And, if you wait a hot minute by the highway, you might see your favorite hypercar flash by.

In this video from the YouTube channel Mike Supercars TopSpeed, Mike tours Nova Luxury Cars, a Dubai dealership crowded with some of the most-coveted fast cars. We also look at what kind of prices they command here and why.

Millions of Dollars Of High Horsepower Jammed Into One Showroom

Sheik Zayed Road is the hotspot for Dubai's supercar dealerships, including Nova. Its showroom houses many high-end brands such as Porsche, Bugatti, Lamborghini, and Ferrari. And here buyers often find the brands' limited-production models, as Mike's camera reveals.

Lined up in a row closest to the showroom window are the stars: a Porsche 918 Spyder, a Bugatti Chiron Sport 110 Ans, and a Lamborghini Aventador SVJ 63 Roadster. Any one of these supercars of these would surely feed a gearhead's need for frenzied speed. Behind them is a queue of red Ferraris, including an F8 Tributo by Keyvany.

Why Are Supercars Cheap In Dubai?

The stunning supercars go on for several more rows. Throughout all the exotics, a 2021 Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series wedged between two Ferraris catches Mike's eye.

Nova's website shows the prices for many of these luxury cars as surprisingly low. Using the current exchange rate, the AMG-GT is $266,811. Similar examples in the U.S. are selling for over $400,000 for the AMG GT Black Series. Another example is a 2015 Lamborghini Aventador selling for $244,792. In the U.S., they easily go for over $330,000.

There are several reasons why supercars like these are so cheap in Dubai. First, consider the well-documented issue of buyers abandoning their supercars in the face of crushing debt for both car loans and expensive maintenance. Add to that the short-term ex-pats in Dubai who buy these cars but sell them when their work assignments end.

Finally, newer cars continue to flow into Dubai's car market, resulting in extremely competitive prices. And while saving a few hundred thousand dollars on a high-end supercar may seem unrealistic for the generation population to think about, just remember that even the wealthy like to get a bargain too.
