Founded in 1978, the Vector Motors Corporation was the brainchild of Gerald Wiegert, American businessman and automotive engineer. Vector produced radical concepts and limited run supercars at a time when there was no such segment. Starting with the aircraft inspired and industrial grade, W2 concept vehicle that could go a reported 230 mph, Vector became the thing of young boy's dreams. This in turn lead to the production of the W8, a 600+ hp twin turbo Chevy engined monster backed by a GM automatic three speed transmission. It was brutally fast, feted in the press, and doomed to a limited run of 22 examples.

After a rather dramatic corporate history, the company ended up in the hands of Megatech who tried to bring sense to the product line and profits to the company. Thus was birthed the M-12 with American inpired Vector looks and the heart of a raging bull. And the current example is set to be auctioned off at Scottsdale 2020!

The M-12 received a full engine-out service in November 2019 from exotic car service specialist, Scuderia Automotive. At that time it received a rebuilt clutch with an upgraded ceramic flywheel and the interior was redesigned for taller occupants. It was also upgraded with a more modern Italian supercar sensibility, but stays true to its original American layout and design.
