You can’t not love classic cars. Though modern cars are better in almost every quantifiable way, classic's simply rule when it comes to charm and making every drive a special event. One of the biggest dealers in classic cars is Barrett-Jackson who regularly list some amazing machines. But they don’t just post listings, they showcase some classic cars on YouTube. This one is not technically a classic yet, but it is kind of old and quite special.  Up for sale, and being shown off by Craig Jackson is this 1999 Vector M-12 and remarkably, this car is being offered for sale at no reserve.

An Incredibly Rare Machine

This car, both in particular and in general, is an incredibly rare breed. It is number 12 of just 14 ever produced, which were built from 1996-’99. It is powered by a brutal Lamborghini 5.7-litre V12 mated to a ZF 5-speed manual transmission to provide driver's involvement also increasingly rare in model cars. And remarkably, this car has just 2,160 miles on the clock and is in virtually as new condition. This is a rare chance to own such a pristine and exclusive car.

This M-12 Has Travelled Far

The M-12 has been around a bit as well. This example has been a feature in the Marconi Automotive Museum, Riverside Raceway Museum, and even the world-famous Petersen Automotive Museum, as part of the “Supercars of the Word” exhibit and it is currently offered from the Larry Winkler Collection. It has fantastically pure supercar style styling, and the owner states that it was designed for the Prince of Brunei. The color combination is absolutely stunning, with a beautiful black exterior and a lipstick red interior.

Nearly 500 HP Puts It In Modern Territory

That Lamborghini engine produces an astonishing 492 hp which is very comparable to most sports cars and some supercars of today. The top speed is around the 190 mph mark, and a 0-60 timing of 4.5 seconds is absolutely nothing to cry about.

The opportunity to purchase such a pristine Vector M-12 can be measured in decades. If you are interested in trying to get your hands on this car, it is being sold as part of the 2021 Scottsdale Auction on March 20-27.
