In recognition of the audacious spirit of Subaru owners everywhere, Subaru of America, Inc. (SOA) and Subaru of New England, Inc. (SNE) took it upon themselves to name the brand as the official vehicle of Killington Resort and Pico Mountain,Vermont - the home of "The Beast From The East" Green Mountain system.
The honor is more than symbolic as Subaru owners heading to these destinations and others in POWDR, the adventure lifestyle company, will enjoy some exclusive benefits including VIP Parking, Concierge Service, Shuttle vehicles, and some additional surprises which have yet to be revealed.
Subaru is also debuting a winter lifestyle event and concert series dubbed WinterFest in partnership with Killington Resort running from February 21 to 23, 2020. The concert will feature top performers and headlining acts from across the U.S.
Jeffrey Ruble, Executive VP and General Manager of Subaru of New England, is looking forward to the synergy between Subaru and Vermont's Resorts during the winter season. According to Ruble, however, it's no surprise as there has long been an association between the Green Mountain State and Subaru. Subarus, after all, are a go anywhere, do anything vehicle meshing perfectly with the driving habits, environment, and lifestyle of their owners.
Mike Solimano, President and General Manager of Killington Resort and Pico Mountain, is equally enthusiastic about the partnership between Vermont's resorts and Subaru. Indeed, he "...welcomes new and returning Subaru owners to [the] resorts and is look[ing] forward to the best ski season yet."
It sounds like it's going to be a fun winter season on the slopes of Vermont's Resorts. And whether you're into skiing, checking out some fine food at the Chalet, or attending the WinterFest concert series, Subaru has you covered with a range of vehicles all equipped with their world-renowned and time tested symmetrical AWD system.
If you're interested in the WinterFest schedule, it will be posted soon on Subaru's website so keep an eye out for it. Until then, I'd get the ski gear out of the closet, make some plans with your friends, and get your Subaru ready for some much needed winter fun. Buckle up.
