European carmakers are arguably the best in the world. When it comes to cars, they are known for their class and beauty. These cars were beautiful until people ruined them with hideous paint jobs.

European carmakers are the best in the game. They proudly hold the number one spot in the automotive industry and can make a statement with their cars. From luxury cars to economy, they've got it all. They can produce cars appealing to almost anyone. But what makes a car attractive is not just the specs alone, a good paint job factors in as well, and most auto brands do a good job on their paint job. But taste is subjective, some owners are never content with the default paint job. These owners went ahead to redesign theirs… but the outcome is hideous.

10 TRON Lamborghini Aventador

The Aventador is a classic car on its own. And Lamborghini does a good paint job with their cars. The owner of this one… not so much. Purple with orange stripes outlining the angles on an Aventador? No! The paint job may not look hideous, especially since it blends with the image background. And if it were a cheap car like the Subaru BRZ or the BMW 3-Series, there would be no qualms with the paint job. You don't change the paint job of a $400,000 car only to make it worse.

9 Bentley Continental Watermelon Paint Job

This one is sure to catch one's attention right away. Not just the car, but the paint job as well. The Bentley Continental is one of the UK's top cars. This European automobile falls in the luxury department. As such, the Bentley Continental is sure to get attention in a parking lot. And with a paint job so hideous as this, the chances are even higher.

Some would argue it's a matter of taste and that's true. But this is unacceptable, whatever the reason. If you'd lift ideas for a paint job, please, not from a watermelon. Even the automaker wouldn't be proud of this.

What seems to be the problem here? The painter ran out of ink or the owner just couldn't afford a nice paint job. Coincidentally, this belongs to a celebrity. This is perhaps the worst application of a camo-inspired paint job. The colors are off and were sparsely applied almost like someone spilled paint on a white car, or a camo attempt gone wrong. It's just hideous.

We've got no issues with Chris Brown, and we'd venture to say he's got deep pockets, but next time… get better service!

7 BAPE Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG

Via: CarNewsChina

What's a BAPE? Glad you asked. A Bathing Ape (BAPE). It's a Japanese clothing company that specializes in street/urban wear. They also love camo, which they are not good at, obviously. It surprising anyone would think this paint job would pass for camouflage. That's a disservice to the Mercedes brand. The German company is a top automaker, and the SLS AMG ranks among its top tier cars. Not sure if they'd appreciate what was done to this car. If you need help with a paint job, contact your dealership, not a clothing company.

6 Shark Inspired Lamborghini Aventador

The Lamborghini sure seems to pop up very often on this list. Almost like owners have cash but no taste, or maybe they lost it after buying the car. Everyone knows a Lamborghini can chop miles off in minutes, but there's no need saying it with a paint job hideous as this. We can figure that out on our own. The owner scores point not just for scary, but ugly as well. And for a car as sleek and stylish as the Aventador, that's a shame.

5 Snake Whisperer

Via: Pinterest

While it no longer looks like it, this is an Audi TT, and the owner is to blame for that. There are many places to steal ideas for a paint job other than a snake. Seriously? Whoever did that certainly has a thing for reptiles, but there's no need to put it on the Audi, it's personal. This is not cool in any sense. This car has lost any beauty it had with a paint job as hideous as this, not to mention, it scares off admirers. If that was the goal, then the owner certainly accomplished it, but there are better ways to achieve that.

4 Weird Lamborghini Paint Job

Via: Pinterest

Yep. That's another Lambo. It's littered on this list, perhaps it's becoming cheaper, maybe readers should check with their dealership. Yes, taste is subjective and perceptions differ but what could warrant this? Perhaps, owners of this beautiful car just lack style and taste? We won't be the judge. But it hurts, on a deeper level than anyone would do this to a car, much less a Lamborghini. It's not remotely appealing in any sense. Wonder what the owner was thinking with such a paint job. It's tiresome to even stare at, plain hideous!

3 Rust-Wrapped BMW i8

Via: TecheBlog

Okay, this one is weird. Hardly know what to make of it. The i8 is an aesthetically pleasing ride that baffles. Even when it debuted, there was nothing like it. It was a sports car average buyers could afford to buy and show off. Not this owner.

Whoever this person is, certainly wasn't content with BMW's paint job. It was too commonplace, perhaps he wanted more… and here we are. People spend money to keep their car looking new, this owner spent cash to make his look rusty.

2 Bizarre Lamborghini Vinyl Wrap

Via: HotCars

Seriously, automakers offer the best paint job for a car, that's why cars come in different colors. Rarely would a buyer have better ideas for the paint job of a car than the manufacturer. It's possible but rarely. So when owners want a facelift, it better darn be good! This is so annoying, we shudder to put up this image. The paint job is not just hideous, but absurd as well. In fact, we'd venture to say this owner lacks style, in every sense. Well, except for buying an Aventador in the first place. Why would one go to such lengths to destroy an Aventador’s beauty, elegance, and sleekness?

1 Tiger-skin Lamborghini

Via: Pinterest

If the owner of this Lamborghini wanted to make a statement, they certainly did… in the wrong way. Anyone who owns a Lambo need not bother about how to make a statement. That's what the Lambo is for–making statements.

The Lambo gets attention more from its looks than its speed. Plus, no one would see a Lambo if it's at full speed. This owner apparently wasn't satisfied. They wanted to stand out from standing out, so badly, they succeeded. This is a knockout in the wrong way.
