These days, most collectible cars for sale online have a few stock sentences in their descriptions explaining that they've never seen rain, snow, salt, or mud. And the thought of taking a car that stickered for six figures off-roading just seems plain silly to most owners—even if they have the money to play with their toys in wild and crazy ways. But leave it to some maniacs in Russia to take a Bentley Continental GT and bolt on tank tracks for some winter fun.

Don't Try This At Home

In the video posted to YouTube above, a Bentley with tracks that have replaced its wheels frolics in the snow. Now, obviously, this isn't a great idea—and some problems do arise, but using tracks seems to transform the luxurious coupe into a legit off-roader. The same can be said for most cars, though, and the clip also features a Jeep Wrangler, as well.

While most people who love sports cars and the world's foremost luxury products might not think of a Continental GT as the most reasonable platform for tank tracks, in reality, the big coupe leaves the factory equipped with all-wheel drive that utilizes Torsen differentials, much like some of the best rally cars in the business, including Audis and Subarus. So to begin with, a Continental might have more off-roading prowess than expected.

The video shows the drivers of both the Jeep and the Bentley getting into some trouble. The Jeep gets straight-up stuck, which is impressive, while the Bentley does suffer a bit of fender damage from one of the tracks. The entire show, though, is obviously worth a watch, especially for anyone who has ever gotten stuck in their daily driver on the way to the ski resort during some inclement weather.
