When it comes to car collections, some of us think 3 or 4 cars is a lot. Well, we're about to blow your mind as these are the ten biggest car collections in the world. Most of these collections are full of absolute beauties whilst others are not. Nevertheless, you have to have a lot of cash lying around to maintain a big car collection. A lot of these big car collections are more so investments, but they are still so cool.
9 Manny Khoshbin
We start off with one of the greatest car collectors of all time. He has cars like the 1/1 Hermes edition Bugatti Chiron, A McLaren P1, a Mercedes-AMG ONE, a McLaren Speedtail, and the Ford GT. Manny made a lot of his money from real estate, and he has been crushing it for years now.
He has a very popular YouTube channel that attracts millions of fans per month. He is very open about his collection, and he often attends car meets to show off his awesome rides. Crazy how he has the rarest Chiron, one of the most iconic Bugatti's ever made.
8 Jay Leno
Everyone knows Mr. Leno. Does he need an introduction? Where do we start with a man who has everything? He has a range of cars from a 1937 Fiat Topolino all the way to a McLaren F1.
Leno has his own show about his car collection too, and that just shows you how big it is. A lot of the cars in there are worth a lot more than what he paid for them, but surprisingly he doesn't seem to sell many of them, unlike other collectors. This shows he is a true enthusiast rather than an investor.
7 Sultan of Brunei
Again, this is a guy who needs no introduction. By far the best car collection in the world, but also the most frustrating. So many gems, such as multiple GTR McLaren F1's locked away forever, never to see daylight again. Many of us would go to extreme lengths just to see what's in his collection, because apart from the Zonda engined S-Class wagon, the Ferrari 456M Wagon, and the RHD 1/1 CLK GTR Convertible, there is bound to be more one-off cars we do not know about.
From time to time, a few of the Sultan's cars go up for sale. Usually at heavily inflated prices, which can look like a rip-off. Though, these cars are usually finished to the best specifications. This man knows how to spec a car, unfortunately, he doesn't know how to appreciate or enjoy them just as well.
6 Jay Kay
There is no man quite as cool as Jay Kay. The lead man for hit band Jamiroquai, he is an absolute legend. His car collection is almost as good as his hit albums. He has cars such as the Lamborghini Miura SV, the Porsche Carrera GT, a Ferrari 275, a Volvo 850R estate, and a McLaren 675LT. He has owned over 100 cars, all of which are extremely exotic and very interesting.
Jay Kay has been featured on a lot of car shows including Top Gear multiple times. He, unlike other supercar collectors, actually drives his cars to the max for the whole world to see. What an absolute legend.
5 Dmitry Lomakov
Not many people know who this man is, and really his car collection looks a little dull in the flesh. Just some old cars really, nothing exotic. That's until you look on paper and realize he owns Hitler's old car. Can Jay Kay say this or The Sultan of Brunei? Now, we all know Hitler was a very evil man but his car, the Mercedes 540K was an absolute monster.
Another car owned by this Russian businessman is the Mercedes 320A owned by Martin Bormann who was another leading figure of the Nazi party. A brilliant car that was unfortunately previously owned by an evil man.
4 Sheikh Hamad Bin Hamad Al Nahyan
The Rainbow Sheikh is another well-known figure who has been in the car scene for years. His car collection is very unique as he owns some quite extraordinary machines. A ten-wheeled truck, a 64-foot tall Dodge Power Wagon, a Mercedes S-Class Monster truck, and a Gullwing Mercedes 560 SEC.
The Rainbow Sheikh loves his cars, and he loves showing them off. Unfortunately, some of them are just too large to be driven properly on normal roads with other cars, but that's ok, because these normal roads get closed by his demand, or he goes to the desert.
3 Nick Mason
Another rock star here, and he does not disappoint. Nick Mason, the drummer of Pink Floyd is a huge gearhead who has owned cars like the Ferrari Enzo, the Ferrari 250 GTO, a Maserati 250F, and a McLaren F1 GTR. He is a legend in the car and music world, and his garage just proves that.
Nick Mason has appeared on Top Gear many times too, most specifically in the Enzo episode in which Jeremy Clarkson reviewed Mason's car. He is a VIP Ferrari customer, and he is one of few people who are handpicked to buy a special Ferrari.
2 Ralph Lauren
Fashion mogul Ralph Lauren is an avid car collector. He has a very classy collection, and he owns cars like the Ferrari 250 GTO and the Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic Drophead Coupe. Two legendary cars worth tens of millions of dollars. He owns 70 cars, and they are all very exotic.
He is a very classy man, and his car collection proves that. It is probably our favorite collection on this list mainly because it includes so many legends.
1 Rowan Atkinson
Rowan Atkinson, also known as "Mr. Bean" and "Johnny English" is a very profound car collector who crashed his McLaren F1 — twice. It might've been the most expensive insurance claim ever, at over $1 million. He has owned cars like the NSX, the SLS Mercedes, and a Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe. He is quite a car enthusiast.
Atkinson keeps his car collection a little more private, but it is full of legendary motors. It would be lovely to see the whole collection and sit down and discuss cars with him.
