Shark Tank is an entertaining entrepreneurial TV show, which allows members of the public to present their inventions and or ideas for a new business to a panel of judges, or “sharks” who can then invest their own money in the business for a percentage of the profits.

Although Shark Tank has been on the small screen in the United States since 2009, the idea for the show actually started in Japan, where it was known as Money Tigers. The US version has been on the go for ten seasons, and over 200 episodes, and there has been various changes to the panel of sharks over the years, as well as guest judges who are all experts in their field.

While not all of the contestants are successful in securing investment from the sharks, some have become household names, earning the judges who backed them a pretty penny into the bargain. For example, the ReadeREST – a magnetic clip which affixes to your clothes and helps stop people losing their glasses – has sold thousands of units, gathering in $27 million in the process.

You only get to become one of the judges on Shark Tank by being enormously successful in your own field – and by having plenty of disposable cash to spend on new business ventures! They also enjoy luxurious lifestyles, including plenty of impressive and expensive cars.

24 Alex Rodriguez - Rolls Royce Phantomhead Drop Coupe

Via okmagazine.com

Gearhead Robert Herjavec is not the only Shark Tank panelist who owns a Rolls Royce Phantomhead Drop Coupe; former baseball star Alex Rodriguez also has one of these ostentatious yet stylish vehicles in his large collection of vehicles.

Rodriguez, who won his only World Series championship with the New York Yankees in 2009, has every right to own such a brazen vehicle – and he is far from the only athlete to have one in his garage – and with a price tag of well over $500,000, it is only former professional sportsmen and Shark Tank judges who could even afford one!

23 Ashton Kutcher - Ferrari California

Via pinterest.com.mx

Ashton Kutcher’s car collection doesn’t consist entirely of environmentally-friendly vehicles; the Hollywood star has somewhat damaged the green credentials he established by owning an all-electric Fisker Karma and a Lexus LS Hybrid by also buying a gas-guzzling Ferrari California sports car.

This sporty grand tourer, made by the Italian auto giant between 2008 and 2017, was the first front-engined Ferrari powered by a V8 and the first with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, and has a top speed of almost 200mph, although it does only get 14.9 miles to the gallon – a far cry from the eco-friendly cars Kutcher is usually seen driving.

22 Mark Cuban - 1955 Ford Customline

Via szivarom.blog.hu

Maverick investor, and coincidentally the owner of the Dallas Mavericks basketball team, Mark Cuban is another Shark Tank panelist who has a passion for vintage cars. In fact, his retro wheels are even older than the 1958 Porsche 356 owned by fellow shark Robert Herjavec.

Cuban’s museum piece was a 1955 Ford Customline which had been restored and customized by the crew at the famous Grease Monkey Garage, owned by Richard Rawlings, one of the stars of motoring makeover show Fast N’ Loud. Cuban even appeared on the show himself, when he came to pick up his new set of wheels.

21 Bethenny Frankel - Mini Cooper

Via twitter.com

Reality TV veteran Bethenny Frankel made two appearances as a guest shark in Season Nine of Shark Tank, though most viewers would recognize her from The Real Housewives of New York, a show in which Frankel has appeared since 2008.

However, while the Real Housewives might be all about lavish parties and decadent spending, Frankel is actually a successful businesswoman in her own right, creating a new healthy lifestyle brand called Skinnygirl which she sold to the company Suntory for $100 million. However, when it comes to cars, Frankel actually loves to drive her very modest Mini Cooper convertible, rather than anything too excessive and expensive.

20 Ashton Kutcher - Fisker Karma

Via hypefresh.co

Ashton Kutcher is obviously best-known as a movie star, TV presenter, and for the column inches his relationships have generated in gossip magazines over the years. However, he also appears as a guest judge on Shark Tank in the seventh season of the show in 2015.

Thanks to his Hollywood success, Kutcher has a great collection of stunning supercars, including a Fisker Karma, an all-electric sports car which was designed by Danish engineer Henrik Fisker. Only 1,600 modes were sold in the US, so the star of That '70s Show and Two and a Half Men did well to get his hands on one!

19 Robert Herjavec - Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG

Via hemmings.com

Canadian businessman Robert Herjavec is one of the regular judges on Shark Tank and has been with the show since the very beginning of season one back in 2009. In fact, he is one of only four sharks who have appeared in every season of the show.

The Croatian-born entrepreneur has a net worth of $200 million, thanks to a successful business career which began when he sold his software company to AT&T for $30 million. Herjavec is a big fan of cars, and one of his favorites is his Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, a limited edition two-seater sports car with gullwing doors.

18 Kevin O'Leary - Audi A3

Via audi.co.uk

Kevin O’Leary is another shark who has been with the reality TV show from the very start, another Canadian businessman who made his fortune buying and selling software companies. O’Leary has also dabbled in politics, making an unsuccessful bid to become the leader of the Conservative Party of Canada in 2017.

With a net worth of $400 million, he is a good shark to have on your side, and also has plenty of funds to help him indulge in his passion for cars, including an Audi A3, the German company’s luxury executive model which has been in production since 1996.

17 John Paul Dejoria - Arlen Ness & Victory Motorcycle

Via rideapart.com

John Paul DeJoria, a Greek-Italian entrepreneur, philanthropist, and larger-than-life character. He spent two years in the Navy, before going on to start the Paul Mitchell line of hair-care products. He has gone on to invest in a dozen more companies, including Patron Tequila.

DeJoria even had an Arlen Ness & Victory motorcycle converted so that it can run on his tequila product, as well as giving it a custom paint job to match the striking green branding. The entrepreneur is the third richest shark to ever appear on Shark Tank, with a net worth of $3.4 billion as of 2018.

16 Alex Rodriguez - BMW 3 Series

Via autoexpress.co.uk

Nicknamed A-Rod, and better known to some as the boyfriend of Jennifer Lopez, baseball star Alex Rodriguez was a guest judge on Shark Tank in Seasons Nine and Ten. Since retiring from professional sport, Rodriguez has pursued a career in the media, providing expert baseball commentary as well as presenting his own show, Back in The Game, which sees A-Rod helping former athletes to rebuild their lives.

Rodriguez and Lopez together are an extraordinarily wealthy couple, and they clearly like to spend their cash on cars, including a stylish BMW 3 Series, a compact executive car that has been made by the German auto giant since 1976.

15 Lori Greiner - Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG

Via: Drivedrill

Entrepreneur Lori Greiner is known as “The Queen of QVC” thanks to her regular appearances on the shopping channel, promoting the products which are made by her For Your Ease Only company. The firm specializes in gadgets that are designed to make your life easier, making Greiner the ideal Shark Tank judge to assess the inventions which are brought onto the show.

Having started out as a guest judge in Season Three, Greiner has now become a regular fixture on the Shark Tank panel, boosting her earnings, and allowing her to buy luxury cars like her bright red Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG.

14 Charles Barkley – Lincoln Navigator

Via mysanantonio.com

Former NBA star Charles Barkley appeared as guest judge on the tenth and most recent season of Shark Tank. Barkley retired from the game in 2000, having played for the Philadelphia 76ers, the Phoenix Suns and the Houston Rockets over a long and successful career.

He hasn’t always enjoyed the greatest financial success, as he had a well-documented gambling problem for some years, but now he is a little older and a little wiser, he is in a great position to give business advice to potential entrepreneurs. Barkley owns several vehicles, but his favorite ride is a Lincoln Navigator, a full-size luxury SUV which was first made in 1997.

13 Kevin O'Leary – BMW 4 Series

Via autoexpress.co.uk

It seems that German cars are a popular choice among the judges on Shark Tank – and for good reason, as BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Audi all have an excellent reputation for luxury, style, and reliability. Shark Tank veteran Kevin O’Leary is a big fan of German motors, not only owning an Audi A3 but also a BMW 4 Series.

The venture capitalist, who has also appeared on a Discovery Channel show about the effects of climate change, owns a high-end BMW 4 Series coupe, which has a minimum price tag of $50,000 – and that’s without all the extras that a wealthy shark is likely to have added to his vehicle!

12 Mark Cuban - Mercedes-Benz S600 Pullman Guard

Via carscoops.com

Mark Cuban, the obscenely wealthy and eccentric owner of the NBA team, the Dallas Mavericks, is another judge who started as a guest before becoming a regular feature on Shark Tank. Cuban has also dabbled in other sports, having tried to buy the Chicago Cubs baseball team in 2008 and ice hockey franchise, the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2006.

Cuban, who has investments in software businesses and even owns a film distribution company, is the wealthiest of all the judges on Shark Tank, with a net worth of $3.7 billion. And that kind of cash allows Cuban to splash out on a $1.5 billion Mercedes-Benz S600 Pullman Guard limousine for himself and his family.

11 Robert Herjavec - 1958 Porsche 356

Via rmsothebys.com

Multi-millionaire Robert Herjavec’s love of cars is not restricted to modern models; he also has an eye for the classics, and his car collection includes a Porsche 356 which was made in 1958. This funky precursor to the Porsche 911 was built between 1948 and 1965 and was the German company’s first production vehicle.

Although the last of the Porsche 356 cars drove out of the factory over fifty years ago, the model is so popular that more than half of them are still around today – including the one which is now destined to spend the rest of its life in Robert Herjavec’s garage.

10 Alex Rodriguez - Maybach 57 S

Via scuffedballs.com

Guest shark Alex Rodriguez has made a small fortune from his sports career, thanks not only to lucrative contracts with the Seattle Mariners, Texas Rangers, and New York Yankees but also to the sponsorship deals and endorsements that he has agreed over his twenty-year career.

In fact, A-Rod is estimated to have a net worth of $300 million – not bad for someone who doesn’t have the same business pedigree as the other Shark Tank judges. Perhaps the highlight of his car collection is his Maybach 57 S, a luxury car which was launched at the 2005 Geneva Motor Show, and which has a 6.0-liter V12 engine under the hood.

9 Ashton Kutcher - Lexus LS Hybrid

Via radkamaric.com

Hollywood star and one-time Shark Tank judge Ashton Kutcher obviously likes to drive stylish cars, but not at the expense of the environment. As well as his all-electric Fisker Karma sports car, the TV and movie star also drives a Lexus LS Hybrid.

This stylish full-size car was first launched by the luxury division of Toyota in 1989, with the hybrid model following in 2007. Kutcher is not the only Hollywood star who takes environmental issues into consideration when it comes to choosing their vehicles, although he does seem to be rather a solitary eco-friendly figure among the other Shark Tank judges!

8 Robert Herjavec - Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe

Via goldmannandsonsplc.co.uk

From an environmentally-friendly car to a real gas guzzler; albeit a gas guzzler that is one of the most sophisticated and desirable cars in the world. Many motorists dream of owning a Rolls Royce, but if you want to drive something really sexy, then the Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe is the only option.

This model is a convertible, which is rare in a Rolls, but still retains all the timeless elegance of the classic British vehicle. Perhaps that explains why it is so popular with wealthy businessmen from the US and Canada, like veteran Shark Tank judge, Robert Herjavec.

7 Bethenny Frankel - Ford Jeep

Via pinterest.com

Real Housewife and Shark Tank guest judge Bethenny Frankel obviously has a taste for the unusual when it comes to cars. Not only does she love to drive her classic and cute Mini Cooper, but she also bought herself a classic Ford Jeep which had been restored and customized in the same red and white colors as her Skinnygirl lifestyle brand.

Frankel was obviously delighted with her new automotive acquisition, as she couldn’t stop snapping photos of the quirky car for her thousands of social media followers. Not the best car for driving around New York City but perfect for a trip to the Hamptons.

6 Kevin O'Leary - Ford Kuga

Via autoexpress.co.uk

You might expect the Shark Tank judges to have garages full of vintage classics and million-dollar supercars, but even the wealthiest businessmen and women in the country sometimes like to have a cheaper car that they can run around in. And for millionaire Kevin O’Leary, that car is a Ford Kuga, a compact SUV that was first made by the US company in 2008.

The Kuga may pale in comparison with some of O’Leary’s other vehicles, but he obviously likes to have something simple for everyday driving – and with a price tag of just $36,000, he could afford to buy thousands of them!

5 Alex Rodriguez - Ferrari 599 GTB

Via rmsothebys.com

A-Rod may have only made a couple of fleeting appearances as a guest judge on Shark Tank in Seasons Nine and Ten, but he certainly has one of the most impressive car collections of any of the sharks, including a Ferrari 599 GTB.

In production between 2007 and 2012 at the famous Marinello factory in Italy, the car is a two-seater grand tourer, powered by a V12 engine and capable of a top speed of 205mph. Rodriguez is often seen out and about behind the wheel of his Ferrari 599 GTB, often with his current girlfriend Jennifer Lopez in the passenger seat.
