If you have the amount of money in your bank account to go out and purchase a Lamborgini, there would be nothing wrong with being excited about the fact that the doors - at least in most models - open "up" in a style known as "Lamborghini Doors". It's something that can look very awesome when it is properly executed and can bring even more positive attention to your supercar.

But it's very important that if you have a desire to have "Lambo Doors" on your car, that you also are driving around in a Lamborgini. And if you aren't, then maybe you should accept the fact that these are doors you shouldn't have in your life. Because while drivers of all brands prove that you still have the ability to modify your doors to look like a Lamborgini, should you really? These owners definitely put in some effort, but stepping out of a PT Cruiser or Smart car is going to be a difficult thing to make look cool to begin with, much less with these adjustments.

Though at least in some cases on our list, the fact that the driver went for Lamborgini doors may only be one of the many mistakes that they made with their modifications. I can't begin to explain to you why these people decided to change up their doors, I can just hope that they find it a lot more enjoyable to get in and out of their car, even if their car ended up looking a lot worse as a result of their meddling.

These are 20 bizarre cars modded with Lamborghini doors.

18 Not The Smartest Doors

via reddit.com

If you were driving around in a Smart car, you may find many moments where you like to feel pretty smug and proud of your decision making when you pull into a parking spot that is seemingly only going to fit a car of that stature. Which means you'll get out of that car feeling like a boss. But that awesome feeling may get diminished if your Smart car doors open like that of a Lamborghini and realize that anyone who is staring at your parking skills is really just shocked that you had thought that was a positive decision to make.

17 This Mazda Miata Didn't Need The Help

via cardomain.com

If you were driving around in a 1992 Mazda Miata, you may just find yourself happy that you can still get some mileage out of the car. But it's very possible that this driver thinks that their decision to turn their Miata doors into Lamborghini doors is something that makes the car feel brand new.

The only problem is that the end result isn't one that improves the aesthetic of the car.

But if we're on that subject, neither does their decision to add the gold paint to the door. At least they know where people will be looking though?

16 It's Still A PT Cruiser

I don't care what car it is you are driving if you are sitting there and wondering if you should get a decal that proudly broadcasts the brand of the car over your windshield, please reconsider that decision. Because honestly having the brand on the back of the car is more than enough to let the world know what you are driving and you really don't need to put a decal like this anyone near your car. But maybe this driver thought their decision to have Lamborghini style doors put on their PT Cruiser was so confusing that they needed the decal so everyone still knew what car they were driving.

15 Lime Green, Awful Doors, Just No

via lowrider.com

There are definitely going to be many conversations that this owner has to have when they go through the process of having to sell their car.

But for their sake, I hope that most of the conversations that are centred around the Lamborghini doors that they added are positive.

If not, they may come to the realization that I (and honestly, probably you as well) have which is that this is a look that has to have had a negative impact on the overall resale value of the car. But maybe you'd be able to convince the owner to pay to have them removed?

14 This Chevy Cavalier Has Several Things Going Wrong

The Chevy Cavalier is a car that I'm sure you would be able to rely on to get you around, even if it may not exactly make all the other people around you swoon with jealousy of how awesome your ride is. But maybe this owner realized that the real secret to making his Chevy Cavalier look just as cool as all the other exotic cars out there was to go and have it get modified to have Lamborghini doors put on. Do you think they had the design put on the car at the same time? I don't think either help the overall look of the car, but hopefully, that's not an opinion that is shared by the person who is driving it.

13 This Pattern Doesn't Blend Into Anything

via electric-vehiclenews.com

It is very possible that you took a quick look at this car and start finding yourself feeling a little bit nauseous. But at least the fact that it is patterned means that maybe most people who walk by this car in person will have the good fortune of not actually realizing what it is.

The colour on the pattern is far from appealing.

But above all else, those Lambo doors definitely need to go! It's an electric vehicle, which is about the only thing this vehicle actually has going for it.

12 This Chevy Impala Should Be Impounded

via cardomain.com

There was once a time in this car's life when it was just a Chevy Impala. But that was a long time ago because the modifications that this driver has made seem to be ones that have taken some time and have forever changed the shell of what this car used to once be. Though as offensive as the Lamborghini doors in the front may be to you, the back doors that appear to spin could be even more useless. Though are either as bad as the paint job and decal choice? I suppose only you can be the judge!

11 Where To Begin

It's hard to know what this person was having run through their mind when they started out with the modifications that they decided to make to this car. The wheels are definitely enough to make the car stand out from the competition, but maybe that isn't exactly a good thing as the wheels are huge and honestly look pretty obnoxious. And while the wheels may be what first draws your attention to this car, as I'm sure the driver is used to, it was the driver's awful decision to add Lamborghini doors to their car that you may not find yourself being able to forgive this driver for.

10 This Dodge Challenger Limo Has Many Issues

via yandex.com

If you are driving around in a Dodge Challenger, I have some positive news for you, you've got yourself a pretty nice car on your hands! But if you are the driver of this Dodge Challenger, I have some awful news for you. Because your decision to not only turn the car into a limo but add Lamborgini doors (not to mention some gull wing doors on the back half) has surely made this car one of the biggest jokes on this entire list and definitely not one that would be easy to convince a large group of people to go for a ride in.

9 Let's Just Hope Baby Ely Is Happy

I have absolutely no problem with Baby Ely if they think that their car looks awesome because everyone has that right to change up their car.

At the very least, a car that is as personalized as this one is a car that is hopefully never going to find itself being put up for sale.

Unless Baby Ely wants to be informed by other prospective buyers that their decision to deck everything out in pink (and pink paw prints at that) is one that is horrible to look at. As are the doors with the awful pink tint that the driver also decided to go with for some reason!

8 This Ford Mustang Didn't Deserve This Treatment

I'm going to have to apologize to you if you have grown up always hoping that one day you would be able to pull out a set of keys in your pocket that belong to a Ford Mustang. And instead of you being able to do that, you have people out in the world who are fortunate enough to be able to own the car, but then go ahead and make modifications to it like this that just leaves everyone sad. Lamborgini doors are almost always going to be unnecessary, and they definitely are on what was once a gorgeous and iconic car.

7 At Least This Toyota Stands Out

via reddit.com

Most Toyotas are never going to be cars that you are going to be able to tell a lady about on a first date and she has the reaction that she just must make sure she gets to go for a ride in it because it's just that awesome. But maybe this owner was thinking that maybe if they went and put Lamborghini doors on theirs, that prospective daters would be at least a little more intrigued. It's just too bad that I'm sure any prospective date would go downhill after their date went to open their door.

6 This Car Needs To Swap Wheels And Change Doors

via cardomain.com

You have to imagine that this driver loves the fact, for whatever reason, that they drive around in a vintage car with some very peculiar rims and an eye-catching white paint-job.

But just because this driver may still enjoy driving around in this car, doesn't mean that you aren't going to hate the modifications that this driver did.

Not only is the lift that they added to the car being one that brings attention for all the wrong reasons, the doors further remove the look of the car in the first place.

5 This Dodge Nitro Needs Some Serious Help

via reddit.com

When Dodge came out with the Dodge Nitro they were definitely hoping that it was going to be a huge source of income for the company and be able to pump out different versions of the car for the foreseeable future. But after 5 years, the company had failed to sell more than 200,000 cars and they ended up discontinuing the line. But just because not a lot of people out there decided to go with the car, didn't stop this person from buying one and deciding to modify it with Lamborgini doors! Though I don't think this makes the car look any more appealing to others. (Source: Wiki).

4 This Corvette Was Just Fine

If you are driving around in this gorgeous Chevrolet Corvette people are definitely going to be noticing what you are doing on the road. So let's hope you're a good driver or you may find yourself getting attention from cops and that's definitely not what you want as a ticket can definitely ruin your day in a quick fashion! But if there were any prospective partners out there who thought you looked really awesome behind the wheel may find those feelings quickly evaporate when you have to go and open your doors and, in the process, hurt the overall aesthetic of your once stunning sports car.

3 As If Hummers Weren't Bad Enough

There is no way to drive around in a Hummer and not know that you are going to often be one of - if not the biggest - car on the road in comparison to the other cars that you may be racing past.

Which also means if one finds themselves driving around in one and they're a reckless driver, they should take a moment to realize the damage this car could do.

But let's also just hope this driver thinks a lot more about their actions on the road than the amount of thought that had to go into their decision to add Lamborgini doors to their Hummer.

2 At Least This Owner Put Some Effort In

Acura has put out several fantastic cars over the course of their company, but they are definitely working hard to let the world know just how awesome the Acura NSX line is - including dubbing their newest NSX line as the next-generation Supercar. But even if it was, I don't know if I'd be able to convince you to drive around in this NSX if it also meant that you had to deal with these types of doors on a regular basis, because let's be honest, it'd probably get old having to deal with these doors in a really quick fashion. The Lincoln Navigator is a car associated with transporting the very wealthy in style and comfort.

It's been mentioned in countless rap songs and music videos, and has achieved a certain level of status.

That being said, these Lambo doors have turned it from classy car of the wealthy into a sideshow that looks like something a teenager would draw up in their notebook. The rims are questionable, but still pass. The doors on the other hand are just plain out of place on this vehicle.
