Dodge introduced the Challenger to the global public in 1969 as a 1970 model. It can be ordered in two versions – the base Challenger and the performance-focused R/T. The most powerful available engine was the 426-ci (7.0-liter) Hemi engine offering up to 425 HP of max output and 490 lb-ft of peak torque. As the original model, the 1970 Challenger is a classic muscle car that many desire.

When it was decided that this blacked-out 1970 Challenger Super Cat was to receive a modern Hellcat crate engine (delivering around 707 hp) under its T/A hood scoop, it had to be upgraded with modern equipment as well. For instance, this Challenger comes with a Tremec 6-speed gearbox, RideTech coilovers, Wilwood disc brakes as well as modern headlights.

Other new installations on the 1970 Challenger Super Cat restomod are a rear spoiler and custom blackened wheels.
