The M8 has always been at the top of the pecking order at BMW. It represents the best of several worlds, including luxury, styling, and sportiness. It's BMW’s coolest sports car so far. The BMW M8 is returning for the 2023 model year, but exclusively as Competition models, with three versions to choose from.

Three M8 Competition Models With Powerful V8

BMW has further sharpened the profile of the M8 with dynamic uniqueness combined with M driving experience. The German premium carmaker offers the 2023 iteration of the flagship in three individual forms: M8 Competition Coupe, M8 Competition Convertible, and the M8 Competition Gran Coupe.

All three M8 Competition models come with the 4.4-liter M TwinPower Turbo V8 engine delivering 617 hp of max output at 6,000 rpm and 553 lb-ft of peak torque between 1,850 and 5,860 rpm. Sent to all wheels via an 8-speed M Steptronic transmission with Drivelogic and the M xDrive all-wheel drive system, this power allows the M8 Competition to zoom from zero to 60 mph in 3.0 seconds and achieve a top speed of 190 mph (with M Driver’s Package).

Five New Exterior Colors And M Shadow Line Lights

Customers can wrap their new M8 Competition in any of the widely available colors, five of which are new. These are Brooklyn Grey metallic, Isle of Man Green metallic as well as Frozen Pure Grey metallic and Tanzanite Blue II metallic from BMW Individual.

All M8 Competition models – Coupe, Convertible, and Gran Coupe – come equipped with BMW Icon Adaptive LED Headlights with Laser Light and M Shadow Line inserts. Starting March until end of 2022 calendar year, clients replace the usual BMW roundels with the optional classic BMW Motorsport logo on the hood, trunk, and wheel hub covers. The M8 Competition rides on 20-inch M Star-spoke wheels shod with performance non-runflat tires.

Luxurious Cabin With Available M Carbon Bucket Seats

Inside, 2023 M8 Competition is available with the optional M Carbon bucket seats. These heated and electrically adjusted seats feature illuminated “M8” badges on the headrests and a memory function (driver’s side). Also available, are full Merino Leather/Alcantara combo.

As standard, the cabin also features a Harman Kardon Surround Sound System and the BMW Live Cockpit Professional that includes a 12.3-inch instrument panel, Head-up Display and a 12.3 central Control Display.
