The richest people in the world live in a reality that's far different from that of normal folk; their daily lives are pretty much real-life fairytales featuring the largest mansions, the fastest cars, and the tastiest foods imaginable. For the wealthiest 1% of all that can be considered rich, there isn't anything that money can't buy, and that opens up a seemingly infinite world of possibilities.

One of those normally unattainable possibilities comes in the form of private jets. Almost everyone that can afford a private jet without it being a bad financial decision eventually makes the purchase, because owning one means you can travel to any part of the world on-demand, whether It's for business meetings or just a whimsical trip. The result of this exclusive desire is an ever-growing industry dedicated to the production of multi-million-dollar jets intended for private clients.

Towards the end of May, one of the world's most coveted private jet manufacturers - Bombardier, unveiled their new flagship jet: the Global 8000. As the successor of the brand's already amazing Global 7500, the new jet is not only the fastest production jet ever, it can also travel the longest range than any before it, and with plenty of other incomparable features, it commands a price tag that will blow you away. First let's go over the cabin's general features, which are plentiful and industry-leading. While most aircraft cabins are pressurized to an altitude of about 8000 feet, the Global 8000's cabin altitude is equal to just 2,900 feet, which is the lowest of any commercial aircraft ever. Furthermore, the cabin is fitted with a hospital-grade air filter that captures up to 99.99% of all air particles, making for the cleanest air possible.

The Bombardier's Global 8000 cabin is also equipped with a circadian rhythm-based lighting system that has a Dynamic Daylight Simulation feature that helps reduce jet lag. Finally, there's a touch cabin management system for passengers to adjust a range of cabin settings, and Ka-band worldwide internet connectivity.

The Bombardier Global 8000 is as luxurious as you can imagine from front to end, the entrance holds the industry's largest kitchen, along with a furnished lavatory, a suite for the private crew, and a wardrobe. The cabin itself is divided into 4 living spaces, starting with the Club Suite. This space features 4 seats that recline into Bombardier's so-called zero-gravity position, which distribute passenger weight equally in order to provide perfect lumbar and spine support. You'll also find concealable side-tables, a 24-inch bulkhead hd display, and 6 large windows.

Next up is the Conference Suite, equipped with a 6-seat space fit for meetings and meals, a configurable dining table, and another set of 6 ultra-large windows. The third cabin space is the Entertainment Suite, which is where passengers will want to spend most of their time. It holds a 3-place berthable divan with in front of a 40-inch high-definition TV mounted upon a media cabinet with storage space. The space is fitted with a surround sound audio setup with sound technology integrated into the seating itself.

Lastly, there's the Principal Suite, where the jet's owner will most likely sleep better than we do here on the ground. It comes with its own zero-gravity seat with a concealable side-table, a full-sized bed with a pair of headboard lamps, a large wardrobe and a 32-inch high-definition display. There's also an en suite featuring a private lavatory with a stand-up shower, another large wardrobe, and safe access to the baggage compartment.

Bombardier's new Global 8000 is based on the 7500, offering much of the same interior features and overall outlay. Things get spicier in terms of performance, however, as the Global 8000 became the fastest passenger jet ever, almost able to become supersonic at a top speed of mach 0.94, which is equal to 721 miles per hour or 1160 kilometers per hour. During a SAF test flight aided by NASA, the aircraft actually clocked speeds above mach 1, actually breaking the sound barrier, but the production version has been limited to mach 0.94 for safety reasons.

Additionally, the Bombardier Global 8000 has an industry-leading maximum range of 8000 nautical miles, as its name suggests, which means it's able to take on extremely long flights to the farthest destinations. The aircraft's high-speed capabilities are mostly due to Bombardier's Smooth Flex Wings, which are almost like two wings in one, composed by a high-lift wing for low-speed maneuvers, and a high-speed wing for maximum speed and ride smoothness.
