The partnership is credited to Bondurant's new ownership that took over in 2019. The owners, a motorsports oriented investment group, has been intent on expanding the school's offerings. In addition to the F4 school, Bondurant will add a drag racing school built around the Dodge Challenger Demon cars already in their fleets. The Bondurant High Performance Driving School was founded by racer Bob Bondurant in 1968.
