One of the greatest developments in the automotive world over the past decade has been the emergence of Tesla and its EV competitors as they steadily rise in popularity. Part of the electric success can be attributed to the fact that four-door commuter cars can keep up with legit supercars thanks to the instantaneously available torque made possible by electric motors. But Tesla did go a little conventional with the designs of its models before the Cybertruck, meaning that the aftermarket world has a business opportunity to help performance-oriented owners get their cars looking as good as they drive. Case in point comes in a new announcement from the Brabus subsidiary Startech unveiling an aggressive upgrade kit for the Tesla Model 3 including aero goodies and plenty of carbon fiber enhancements.

Startech developed all the aerodynamic components using 3D scanning and CAD technology, then built using injection-molded polypropylene. Options include a revised front fascia with Formula 1 inspiration that completely replaces the factory front bumper, attachable rocker panels, door mirrors, a chrome delete package, and the rear wing seen above.

Wheels And Springs

How much the aero kit actually improves performance depends on some wind-tunnel testing, so customers looking for real-world gains should probably opt for the wheel package or sport springs offering to lower approximately 30mm (1.18 inches) all-wheel-drive variants and 40mm (1.57 inches) for rear-wheel-drive variants. The wheels, meanwhile, are five-spoke 20-inch units with center-lock and look to provide that race-inspired image for Tesla owners who love the thrill of instantaneous acceleration.
