For classic cars and used cars in general, Bring A Trailer is one of the best websites out there for car auctions. The website features all manner of classics and used cars such as muscle cars, sports cars, and pickup trucks. This Lamborghini is an incredibly cool find on Bring A Trailer: a 1998 Diablo SV that has just 23k miles on its odometer since new and was sold new from Ultimate Motor Works in Longwood, Florida. The Diablo is currently located in Gaithersburg, Maryland.

Beauty In Black

This car looks extraordinary, and the Diablo itself is perhaps one of the most awesome supercars of the 1990s. It is finished in a stunning Smalto deep black, boasts a Nero leather interior, and to find one with such little mileage is very rare indeed. The 1998 model year of the Diablo was the final one to feature pop-up headlights, something that became a popular and much-loved feature. The Diablo also features SV-scripted vinyl graphics that have been applied to the side panels and the car scissor doors. The rear wing is adjustable and features a custom back-up camera lens integrated into the left stanchion.

The cabin is quite airy and lets plenty of light into it, which is good for a supercar. As mentioned previously, the Diablo’s interior is finished in Nero leather, with matching carpets and panels to compliment. As you might expect from a high-performance Lamborghini, it also has carbon-fiber trim accents along with the center console and, – as a relief for many – the amenities include air conditioning, power locks, and a pop-up Pioneer head unit linked with Alpine speakers and a front-trunk mounted amplifier.

Power And Transmission

Finally, we get to the engine that powers this rather awesome car. Unlike some Diablos currently on the road, this has the original engine. The car is powered by a 5.7-liter V12, valve timing management that was introduced in the 1998 model year. When new, the V12 produced a highly impressive 510bhp with 428ib-ft of torque, also when new. In addition, a five-speed manual transaxle and a ZF limited-slip differential drive all that glorious V12 power to the wheels of the car.
