Like with the Ford Bronco Sport Badlands, Ford continues to focus on updating its SUVs. No wonder the 2021 Ford Bronco came out in 2020 with much aplomb and lots of amazing features and packages.

The 2021 Bronco is all-new for Ford customers and comes as a four-door vehicle. What’s more, there’s the small addition to the Bronco clan with a smaller Ford Bronco Sport joining the fold as well as the Ford Bronco Sasquatch package.

The Sasquatch package is not only an absolute head turner for an SUV; it comes with must-have utilities that every Ford Bronco needs to have. As of August 2021, the Brand Chief of the Ford Bronco, Mark Grueber, announced that at least 50% of those who buy the 2021 Bronco have gone with the Sasquatch Package.

So what’s with all the Sasquatch Package hype? Well, here’s everything you should know about the Ford Bronco Sasquatch Package.

Ford does so well in keeping with traditions, and the capability & styling of the 2021 Ford Bronco stays true to the brand’s 1966-1977 classic version. Being the SUV that it is, the car comes with advanced 4WD tech that helps off-roaders no matter their ability. Choosing the Sasquatch package when you build a Bronco gets you a 4.7:1 final drive ratio, 17-inch wheels capable of “beadlock,” a solid set of 35-inch mud-terrain tires, and position-sensitive Bilstein shocks.

The option group adds a higher-mounted fender flare and a suspension lift kit to help drivers clear their tires. Also, the Ford Bronco Sasquatch package offers the shortest final drive ratio and the biggest factory tire size.

One of the more exciting parts of the 2021 Ford Bronco Sasquatch is that the Sasquatch package is available with all Bronco trims. It does, however, come standard on models like First Edition and Wildtrak. This means that buyers can enjoy all the essential off-road features they need straight from the factory. They don’t have to upgrade to more expensive trim levels.

A standard 2.3-liter turbocharged EcoBoost engine with four cylinders accompanies the 2021 Ford Bronco. This is the same version of the engine under the hood of the Ford Ranger, and it is capable of 275-hp. The Sasquatch packs a seven-speed manual-six plus crawler gear for its gear.

As expected, four-wheel drive is standard on the Bronco and a two-speed electronic shift-on-the-fly system. Meanwhile, the base Bronco also carries a 16-inch steel wheel and 30-inch tires that withstand all seasons, including the tough winter.

A standard modular hardtop follows the base two-door Ford Bronco Sasquatch, and you can remove some or all of its pieces. Ground clearance isn’t bad at 8.3 of clearance, capable of going up to 11.6 with a 35-inch tire size.

Simplicity and Comfort Outlines The Outlook Of The Sasquatch Package’s Interior

Step inside the Bronco, and you'll find a simple, comfortable but bold interior where physical controls and buttons are well-placed for easy reach. Four unique rubberized buttons above the dash cater to your off-road endeavors, such as the traction control and the differential lock.

The view from the front seats invites you to a world of infotainment through an 8 or 12-inch navigation touchscreen. Also, the Sasquatch carries wireless smartphone charging and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity.

A mounting bar sits along the top of the dash for your cameras and smartphones. You can choose from vinyl seats that are easy to clean or leather seats. An earthly ambiance adds to the look and feels with color schemes like warm earth tones and pale gray.

The floor of the SUV is also rubberized and comes with drain plugs to make washing out mud and dirt easier. The cargo area carries a slide-out tailgate along with a side-opening door. And if you’re looking to crack open a cold one on a hot summer day, there’s a bottle opener integrated into the vehicle’s rear.

Exterior Styling Of The Sasquatch Package Is a Nod To The Classic 1966-77 Bronco

The exterior styling of the Sasquatch package is a nod to the classic 1966-77 Bronco. The round headlights encased in the rectangular single-piece grille and vertical taillight design are huge pointers. There’s, however, no Ford blue oval on the body of the Bronco.

The two-door option comes with a modular hardtop, although there’s no convertible available with that. People who prefer that can get a modular hardtop or a soft top, both removable, on the four-door option. Side mirrors stay on the car’s body while the aluminum doors come with quick releases. This makes it much easier to take the doors off.
