Bubba Wallace has certainly had a rollercoaster year in NASCAR. From the incident at Talladega involving the noose, and the leading efforts he has put in for Black Lives Matter and the fight against social injustice, Bubba has been a real force for good in 2020. It has led to the confederate flag being banned from races, and now Urban Outfitters has partnered with Bubba, NASCAR, and the Richard Petty Motorsports team to support Bubba Wallace’s foundation, the Live To Be Different Foundation.

The Foundation Itself

Bubba started the foundation with the aim of supporting disadvantaged individuals and those in need with a second chance in education, or with social and other types of assistance regardless of skin color, gender, etc. It is something the driver is, of course, incredibly proud of, and this partnership with Urban Outfitters is going to provide a major boost for the foundation.

As the NASCAR playoffs start to heat up,  it's the perfect time for Urban Outfitters to show their support. The company has launched two exclusive T-shirts, and that has included a donation of $100,000 to the Live To Be Different Foundation through sales of the T-shirt. And as you can naturally expect, all parties involved are delighted with this awesome new partnership.

“My hope is to empower the next generation to strive and achieve anything they put their mind to,” said Bubba Wallace “This collaboration with Urban Outfitters will go a long way in spreading the message of compassion, love, and understanding and enable the Live To Be Different Foundation to have a positive and lasting impact on as many individuals that we possibly can.” NASCAR is on track again this weekend, with the next race of the season taking place at Richmond Raceway.
