For a company with such a storied and eclectic history, Bugatti is not afraid to honor it or showcase it. From the classic race cars of the 1920s and right up to the ground-breaking Bugatti Veyron, Bugatti love to showcase their past. To further honor the past, Bugatti has built 500 bespoke Baby II models, based upon the 1926 Bugatti Baby, and built to celebrate the company’s 110th anniversary. Bugatti have now commenced deliveries of this iconic tribute across the world, one of which has gone to a private jet terminal in the UAS and one to a private Bugatti collector in Belgium.

Both cars that have currently been delivered are quite different. The car delivered to Dubai is a carbon fibre Vitesse version, and features a 2.8 kWh battery pack and is finished in a stunning Jetex Orange color, plus it has been fitted with the Touring Pack that features a high-power LED headlight upgrade, brake light package, mudguard, fender as well as upgraded wiring harness/loom. The example delivered to Belgium however has been built as an aluminum “Pur-Sang” spec Baby II, the color palette matching the original Bugatti Type 35 that the collector owns.

Each car comes with an individual chassis number, with the Baby II heading to Belgium being that of chassis 388 which coincidentally matches the original Bugatti Baby that is part of their collection. This “Pur-Sang” example also features a Nocturne Black exterior and a leather interior in the color Terre D’or and it is a unique example in that it blends modern designs, with vehicles of the past. Further unique features come with the Dubai example, which boasts a transport case that is color matched to the Jetex Orange that the car itself comes in.

Owning a Bugatti Baby II allows the owners automatic access to the Bugatti Owner’s Club, which will allow them to take their Baby II cars out for a drive on renowned racetracks across the world. Three versions of the Baby II have been created. The Base, Vitesse and the Pur Sang and the aluminum bodywork of the Pur Sang takes over 200 hundred hours of craftsmanship to create. This truly is a great way for Bugatti to honor their past.
