The 2010s have definitely brought us some very nice cars and all in all, it is a decade that definitely deserves some praise. Technological advances have truly blossomed in this decade and as a result, car manufacturers are continuing to produce better vehicles for each new model year.

However, although this has been truly a spectacular decade, it is clear that it has been full of lemons. In fact, there are cars from this decade that people have already given up on because of the number of issues that they possess. It is very important to know which vehicles these are, as people can still make the mistake of buying them used, or even brand new.

With all that has been stated thus far, in this article, we will be looking at 20 cars from the 2010s that are already filling up junkyards. It is extremely crucial to note that these cars will be coming from an abundance of different car manufacturers. They will show the fact that even the best car manufacturers of this decade have been prone to making a handful of bad vehicles, as well. There is no question that this absolutely displays the fact that people need to do some serious research before purchasing a new car. Even the best models are prone to having a lemon or two in their histories, so one must be aware.

20 2012 Dodge Nitro

The 2012 Dodge Nitro was supposed to be a very solid vehicle from the car manufacturer but this would end up not being the case—not in the slightest. This is larely because of the fact that this vehicle was weak when it came to its overall structure, which would drop its value quickly.

According to Car Complaints, this vehicle ran into most of its problems when it came to its faulty engine. When seeing how this was supposed to be a very solid family vehicle, it is clear that the manufacturer failed immensely and it would end up taking away a ton of its sales.

Once viewed as a vehicle that could have been a top seller, the 2011 Suzuki Grand Vitara had an abundance of potential. However, this would quickly disappear entirely, as this car would go on to easily be the worst one in the entirety of its series and one that definitely did not do well.

The main issue with this car was that it lacked overall durability, so people would end up getting rid of it very quickly. One cannot blame its owners, as this car had an abundance of problems with its transmission, which, of course, would make it prone to needing a plethora of repairs.

It is crazy that the Ford Focus series is still popular today, as it has been distributing lemons to the public for a number of years. This would end up being the case with the 2015 Ford Focus especially, as it would go on to have an abundance of major issues that never seemed fixed.

There is no question that people still drive this car today but many of these are already being found in junkyards because of how poorly they were put together when it comes to their overall structure. There is no question that this model could have been far better but Ford did not do a good job with it.

The 2010 Chrysler Sebring has become notorious for its immense issues, and this, of course, did not end up helping the car manufacturer at all. Once word got out about how poorly these cars were built, they were avoided entirely, which would end up making Chrysler lose money.

Engine and transmission issues seemed to be the biggest and most common problems with these vehicles and would seriously drop their value. There is no question that these cars could have done a great job if they were built differently but one cannot change the past at this point.
