Floyd Mayweather has one of the most impressive - if not most impressive car collection among any of his peers. Floyd has spent over $10 million on exotic car ride purchases over the years. With his net worth continuously rising you can only expect that number to grow. No matter what you think of the boxer he maintains a disturbing net worth that’s constantly on the rise. He’s nearing the $1 billion territory - a mark very few have managed to reach.

In this article we take a look at his stunning garage and assess which purchases are worth every dollar. Performance is a big part of our research. The likes of Rolls Royce, Ferrari, Bugatti and Mercedes all make appearances on this side of the list. Conversely, these same car types also appear on the other side as well. Again performance is a big key when assessing car value. However we also compare the price tag of some his car purchases and we indicate that he might have been better off spending his money elsewhere. In some cases he could have spent the same amount of money on a better version of the vehicle. Again one must keep in mind that this is pure speculation on our part, don’t go off the rails if one of your favorite exotic rides makes the "wasted" part of the list. We’re just having some fun!

Without further delay here are 11 cars in Floyd’s garage worth every dollar and 9 that aren’t. Let’s get started!

20 Worth Every Dollar: Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita ($4.8 Million)

via gettyimages.com

We begin with the top ride that used to be in Floyd’s garage, the stunning Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita. It isn’t a car you see the US everyday and it ranks among the more expensive sports cars. According to Fox News this ride is worth every penny with disturbing power and speed capabilities under the hood; “It has 1,018 horsepower is delivered from a twin-supercharged 4.8-liter V-8. All 1,018 ponies are sent through Koenigsegg's own Xtrac Super Synchro 6-speed paddle-shift transmission, which was engineered specifically for the CCXR. The combination is good for a 0-60 mph time of 2.9 seconds and a top speed in excess of 250 mph.” What truly makes this car worth every dollar is the fact that it is one of two made and the only Trevita legal to drive in the US. Nonetheless Floyd put it up for the highest bidder last summer.

19 Way Overpriced: Bentley Golf Cart ($20,000)

via pinterest.com

With a net worth nearing a billion these days Floyd isn’t necessarily scared of making useless purchases. We have seen that time and time again. An example includes multiple thousand dollar haircuts per week.

The popular boxer has also spoiled his children on the regular with various rides.

However this one was deemed as a waste purchasing his 15 year old a Bentley Golf Cart. He bought him an actual car a couple of years later. The purchase is a costly one and according to SBNation it includes various customs as well. Who knows if he kept the purchase or if it’s stored away somewhere far away these days?

18 Worth Every Dollar: Ferrari Enzo ($3 Million)

via mecum.com

Ferrari lovers get ready to pick your jaws off the ground. Yes Mayweather used to be the proud owner of the legendary Ferrari Enzo. With a value of over $3 million this car is worth every penny due to its legacy and rareness. Production of the car lasted only two years between 2002 and 2004 – in total only 400 units were produced worldwide. With F1 technology on the inside and the sleek Ferrari look on the outside it is one of Floyd’s best purchases ever. According to BBC this is another ride Mayweather ended up selling most recently. The car sold for $3.3 million at a New York auction - a price tag definitely worthy.

17 Way Overpriced: Rolls Royce Phantom Limousine ($3.8 Million)

via gettyimages.com

In case you didn’t know Floyd’s favourite car purchase comes from the Rolls Royce models. His garage is filled with both classics and modern day versions. As you’ll see throughout the article some are worth every penny while others like this expensive purchase could have been avoided.

One would think the customizations on this extended limo alone cost an unprecedented amount of money.

With the TMT sign on the windows it is really hard to put a price tag on a car you don’t even drive. For that reason this one falls under the dud category.

16 Worth Every Dollar: Bugatti Grand Sport Convertible ($3.3 Million)

via pinterest.com

Floyd has some weird timing when it comes to making expensive purchases. You would think he would buy an expensive ride after a fight to celebrate his performance and earnings but that doesn’t seem to be the case. Instead he dropped over $3 million prior to his McGregor fight. The result is this beautiful Bugatti Sports Convertible that’s worth every single dollar. According to TMZ he wanted a car that was going to make a splash and there is no doubt he accomplished that with this rare 2012 ride.

15 Way Overpriced: 1996 Mercedes Benz S600 ($20,000)

via curbsideclassic.com

What’s a 1996 Mercedes doing in Floyd’s garage? The car has a decent worth but one that is at best $20,000. That is truly peanuts in comparison to his other rides. Due to this factor the car is definitely not worthy of the garage. However it doesn’t lack when it comes to sentimental value. According to Auto Evolution this is Floyd’s first ever ride. He kept the car to this day and what’s most fascinating is despite the 20 plus year old age of the model the car it has a modest 30,000 miles. He recalls riding in the car back in the day while rocking some old school tapes and blasting some of his favourite tracks.

14 Worth Every Dollar: Mercedes SLS AMG ($200,000)

via ibsrv.net

We applaud the sentimental value of the last Mercedes but in truth 99% of people would rather opt for this stunning Mercedes SLS AMG. Mayweather doesn’t have too many Mercedes but this one is worth every single penny. The car model is a preferred one by various athletes.

Mega soccer legends Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar have also purchased updated versions of the vehicle.

It has a sleek look along with underrated interior. At a $200,000 price tag the car is an absolute steal and one of the most underrated in Floyd’s garage these days. Some Mercedes enthusiasts would opt for this ride as opposed to most of his expensive Rolls Royce purchases.

13 Way Overpriced: Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano ($240,000)

via espn.com

A beautiful Ferrari without a doubt and calling it a waste or a vehicle that isn’t worth it is just silly. However when you assess some of the other rides in Floyd’s garage such as the various Ferraris this one is among the lower scale nature. It has a modest price tag of $240,000, that’s value literally worth less than a quarter in comparison to some of his recent Ferrari purchases. We would also like to indicate that the predecessor, the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta seems to be more of a Floyd kind of ride. Nonetheless take nothing away from this beautiful two-door model, it is a gem regardless.

12 Worth Every Dollar: LaFerrari Rosso Corsa ($3.3 Million)

via tomhartleyjnr.com

If you wanted to see a Ferrari worth the price feast your eyes on the stunning LaFerrari Rosso Corsa, one of the newest models that takes Ferrari to another level in terms of innovation. That car has that futuristic look while keeping the classic Ferrari theme on lock down - a perfect blend for Ferrari lovers and Floyd. Now the car didn’t come cheap with a ridiculous price tag of $3.3 million. According to The Drive apparently one LaFerrari wasn’t enough. Floyd ended up buying two LaFerraris each with a worth of more than $3 million. The second purchase may have been unnecessary however....

11 Way Overpriced: White LaFerrari Pearl Paint ($3.3 Million)

via pinterest.com

It is like a sin to mention a LaFerrari under the dud section but once again we have to just based off of Floyd’s garage.

Buying a second model in white just seems like a complete waste when he already has the red model.

When you combine the prices of the two Floyd could have instead easily upgraded and purchased the magnificent LaFerrari Aperta which has sold at auctions for $7 million – pretty much the price tag of these two cars combined. The Aperta is a rare Ferrari gem with only 210 units sold. It’s a peculiar decision but again the champ does what he wants when wants!

10 Worth Every Dollar: McLaren 650S Spider ($370,000)

via dupontregistry.com

If someone ever asks what do Floyd Mayweather and Paris Hilton have in common it’s the fact that both have previously owned this stunning McLaren 650S Spider. The only difference is that Floyd kept the car in pristine condition while Hilton completely wrecked it... There is just something so sleek and captivating about a McLaren. It has that sports car look while maintaining its presence on the inside as well. Floyd purchased the rare car back in 2015. According to TMZ this vehicle features a top speed of 204 MPH along with sizzling speeds of 0-60 in 2.9 seconds making it one of his quickest rides. If Floyd chooses to he can also cruise down the streets due to the retractable hardtop. Basically the car is a winner in all aspects.

9 Way Overpriced: Bentley Mulsanne Duo ($290,000 Each)

via carreviews.com

It was a curious purchase especially because of the timing. Back in 2012 Mayweather was sentenced to 90 days in the slammer. While getting himself ready he thought hey, why don’t I buy myself an all new Bentley Mulsanne. Of course that’s what one tends to desire just days before heading to jail. Take nothing away from the purchase it was a great one. However buying two of them is just overkill. At that price Mayweather could have bought himself a stunning Bentley Azure T that has a similar price tag of the two cars combined. His May be black and white, but he also has other luxury saloons pictured above, making them a waste.

8 Worth Every Dollar: Ferrari 488 GTB ($350,000)

via rentlux.com

Ladies and gentleman we present to you Floyd’s newest ride the stunning Ferrari 488 GTB. Okay correction, we present to you the car Floyd recently purchased for his son the Ferrari 488 GTB. Oh yes that’s the reality, Mayweather recently posted to Instagram just a couple of days back showing off his son's new ride as the duo cruised down the streets in style.

This car is true perfection and honestly a steal at the given price tag.

It has power on the inside and that’s matched by the stunning exterior which has a modern twist on what a Ferrari is all about. This is another underrated gem recently welcomed into the Mayweather family garage.

7 Way Overpriced: Lamborghini Murcielago ($510,000)

via welt.de

This Lamborghini tends to have a reputation as one of the more underrated Lambo rides. However enthusiasts of the car brand will quickly point out that it isn’t the best Lambo out there and in fact it’s far from it. Mayweather purchased this car years ago. With a yellow exterior it was one of his first exotic car purchases. In truth he could have easily waited for the Aventador model which came out only a year after (more on that later). Lambo ended the Murcielago production as of 2010. We haven’t seen the car in a while which likely means Floyd either stashed away or sold it to someone else.

6 Worth Every Dollar: Ferrari 458 Italia Spider ($325,000)

via dupontregistry.com

“Ferrari 458 Italia Spider vs Ferrari 599 GTB Big Boys got Big Toys themoneyteam.com” Mayweather posted this message to Instagram along with the stunning shot of his two beautiful white Ferraris. Now we called the 599 GTB a dud just considering his other Ferrari purchases. The 458 Spider is yet another one however this ride definitely fits the price tag. Making its debut in 2011 the retractable roof is one of the brilliant mods made by Ferrari. It weighs 55 pounds which is nothing and it opens in just 14 seconds. Yes even the darn retractable roof has a need for speed. It has a lower acceleration as opposed to his other Ferraris hitting a top speed of 320 km/h. Nonetheless it’s a ride meant for cruising and certainly worth every dollar.

5 Way Overpriced: Lamborghini Aventador ($750,000)

via iautohaus.ca

So we said Floyd should have waited for the Aventador. Instead he ended up purchasing both adding this stunning Lambo to his garage. He made the purchase shortly after the Murcielago in 2012. Some might suggest he went on an exotic car spree following the purchase of this ride. It’s a shame to call this car a waste. The only reason why it lands on this side is due to the amount of Aventadors available these days. The model continues on with the Aventador S Coupe and Roadster. In truth the vehicle isn’t rare and is fairly easy to find. The Aventador produced over 5,000 models since 2016 and that number continues to climb. Based on rarity alone we’ll put this ride on the waste side.

4 Worth Every Dollar: Rolls Royce Phantom 2018 ($600,000)

via goldcoastbentley.com

It made complete sense that Floyd would purchase this stunning all-new Rolls Royce Phantom 2018. Given all the money he made from the McGregor fight purchasing this vehicle was truly no sweat. According to Car Scoops the vehicle feature lots of goodness on the inside; “A new twin-turbo 6.75-liter V12 powertrain making 563hp and 663lb-ft (900Nm) of torque resided in the engine bay. The unit is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, but despite its power, the new Phantom is all about opulence and driving in style. It’s also fitted with more than 286 lbs (130 kg) of sound insulation, which makes it “the most silent motor car in the world”, according to the manufacturer.” We can safely say this was a well spent birthday gift for Floyd...

3 Way Overpriced: Two Bugatti Chirons ($6.5 Million Combined)

via gettyimages.com

“We want you to take this to theater with ease, we aren’t really building a race car,”  According to USA Today’s Andy Wallace this is the problem with the new Bugatti Chirons. Although they look great the value really isn’t worth it based off the speed and flawed breaking system. Due to the massiveness of the breaks the car is a lot slower than it should be. The breaks measure 16 inches which is way too large. It slows down the car which is a big flaw and one that isn’t worth the over $3 million price tag. Mayweather bought two of them. With the price tag of more than $6 million combined he could have a lot better than these rides - especially in terms of performance.

2 Worth Every Dollar: Rolls Royce Wraith ($330,000)

via dupontregistry.com

Step into Floyd’s garage and you’ll quickly come to learn that he loves Rolls Royce. Among his favourites is the Rolls Royce Wraith, a re-launched model that returned to the market back in 2014. The previous Wraith edition came way back in the 1930s. Not only did he buy the car for himself but he also bought a sleek white Wraith for his daughter as well. According to Car Buzz the price tag was roughly a little over $350,000. Here’s the real kicker, his daughter was 14 at the time of the purchase. Try to recall what you had as a 14 year old. In all likelihood it wasn’t a car with a value of over $300,000! It has the classic Rolls Royce look making it a complete stud from Floyd’s garage.

1 Worth Every Dollar: Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Chassis 008 ($3 Million)

via gettyimages.com

He might have messed up with the Chirons but he made up for it with this stunning Veyron Grand Sport Chassis. This Bugatti is among the fastest legal street cars in the entire world. The Bugatti Super Sport has the capabilities of hitting a top speed of 431 km/h, wow! Now Floyd’s ride might be a little slower but the car is truly no slouch and worth every penny both on the inside and outside. In terms of his most valuable rides this one has to rank up there amongst the very best.
