Along the way, Gaga has earned plenty of cash - but that's what sold-out world tours, Super Bowl halftime shows, and viral music videos will do - but for a New Yorker who learned to drive late in life, she's built up an impressive automotive collection along the way. In typical Lady Gaga fashion, her taste runs the gamut from classic muscle to elegant sedans and modern supercars. It's much harder to identify a clear cut theme in her choice of cars than it is in her music, but industry aficionados the world over will nonetheless recognize a good eye for iconic cars both old and new.
14 Lincoln Continental
Lady Gaga's most iconic ride is a classic Lincoln Continental in off-white with deep red leather and wire-spoke wheels. Not many cars instantly call up the spirit of Detroit luxury quite as quickly as the Lincoln Continental, with its insanely long profile, stately lines, and of course those rear-hinged doors.
And given Gaga's penchant for California cruising, opting for a convertible that still easily seats four was obviously a must if friends or little monsters planned to tag along for some fun in the sun. The only drawback is that rolling the top back makes Gaga's poker face more easily caught by paparazzi cameras - but maybe that's part of the point.
13 Rolls-Royce Phantom
Luxury comes in many forms, but British manufacturer Rolls-Royce always leads the pack when it comes to cars offering enormous engines, enormous bodies, and incredible opulence. Lady Gaga actually owns multiple Rolls-Royces, including this late-2000s Phantom, which she looks to be barely able to see over the steering wheel of, much less over that long hood.
Maybe she's just attracted to cars with rear-hinged doors, but either way, the real surprise is that Gaga chooses to drive her Rolls herself, since so many wealthy Rolls-Royce owners purchase the enormous sedans with the intention of being chauffeured around in the comfort of the roomy backseat.
12 Rolls-Royce Corniche
Lady Gaga's red Rolls-Royce Corniche is a throwback to the older style from the British manufacturer which may have suggested even more luxury than their current models' more futuristic designs. The Corniche was powered by a 6.75-liter V8 paired to a three-speed automatic - nothing like the big V12s and 10 speeds that are becoming more common on huge luxury sedans these days.
But in 1990, when this Corniche was built, a three-speed was all that could handle the brute force necessary to motivate such a heavy convertible, which weighed in at nearly 5,000 pounds despite only having two doors.
11 Rolls-Royce Phantom
Gaga's second Rolls-Royce Phantom is in white over tan leather and black wheels. She looks tiny driving the behemoth all alone, though in classic Gaga form, her choice of hats and sunglasses seems to match the car perfectly.
Whether she chose the color and interior options personally is a serious consideration, as the wide range offered by Rolls includes 44,000 shades of paint, any leather in the world, and so many ridiculous amenities that include factory umbrellas (with umbrella holders) and even an automatically retracting Rolls-Royce hood ornament that prevents theft, pedestrian injury, and damage in the case of an accident.
10 Chevrolet El Camino
Lady Gaga loves the classic lines of the Chevy El Camino, though hers is done up in a slightly restomod style, complete with badge and door handle deletes, big wheels, and a smooth black finish. With the 2016 release of Joanne, Gaga dove headlong into a country phase in her music, and the El Camino offers her a chance to pair straw hats, cutoff jeans, and cowboy boots in perfect harmony with the album's electric and acoustic tunes.
The El Camino comes from a different time, one that Lady Gaga attempted to grab ahold of on Joanne, and that had been hinted in earlier songs like "You and I."
9 Audi R8
Despite her recent foray into a more country-western vibe, longtime fans of Lady Gaga know that she burst onto the scene with a combination of aggressive lyrics and electronic beats that put her at the forefront of music's future. Gaga has always been forward thinking, from her politics to her style, and the radically sleek styling of the Audi R8 fits right into that mold.
The taught mid-engined sports coupe offers handling thanks to Quattro all wheel drive and shares its drivetrain with the Lamborghini Gallardo and Huracán, all in a package that is low, wide, and utilizes extensive carbon fiber in both its construction and in its design details.
8 Ford F-150 SVT Lightning
Ford's first-generation Lightning pickup offered users an incredible combination of sporty power while still maintaining the day-to-day utility of a quintessentially American truck.
With a 240 horsepower V8 under the hood, the first gen didn't make insane power figures like its second-generation successor, but nonetheless Lady Gaga's obviously managed to enjoy a bit of speeding as she was pulled over in the truck. Or maybe the law just wanted to get a closer look at Gaga is such an awesome truck - with hilarious 90s Lightning badges - and have a story to tell later that night back at the station.
7 Chevrolet Chevelle SS
Lady Gaga clearly has a soft spot for classic cars that give her a nostalgic vibe and fit well into her recent Joanne phase. Her Chevrolet Chevelle SS accomplishes that goal with ease thanks to its aggressive muscle car styling, from the hood to the wheels and the rear haunches, and though the powertrain might not wow compared to today's supercars, hopefully Gaga found one with the 327 V8 cranking out 350 horses.
Fans might do well to keep an ear out for if the burbly exhaust on the Chevelle SS fits into the intro on any upcoming songs - a soundtrack straight out of classic Americana.
6 Ford Bronco
On hot days in Los Angeles, Gaga takes out her Ford Bronco for some top-down driving. While many Broncos have been beat up or turned into rock crawlers, a rising number seem to be making appearances as well-maintained, semi-restored vintage trucks, and values are skyrocketing as buyers flood the market looking for that perfect truck for their image.
With immaculate blue paint, it might seem like Gaga never takes her Bronco off-roading, but in her "Perfect Illusion" music video she takes a Bronco out in the desert. Is this the same one with in a new color, or does she maybe own multiple Broncos?
5 Lamborghini Huracán
Lady Gaga made quite an entrance at the beginning of her 2017 Super Bowl Halftime Show, appearing on top of the stadium and diving down onto the stage, but her entrance earlier in the day was pretty impressive as well.
Gaga has posted multiple shots of herself with her Lamborghini Huracán, and she seems to revel in driving it to sporting matches - she was also caught pulling up in the Huracán at a World Series game. Waiting around in traffic entering sports stadiums sounds like a sad way to enjoy the Huracán's incredible power, all-wheel drive handling, and raucous exhaust, though.
4 Ford Mustang
Few cars in the history of American automotive manufacturing call up the same memories and emotions as the first Ford Mustang. Gaga's is an early convertible in Ivy Green paint, and it's a great sign that she's driving while forcing a friend into the cramped back seat, although the diminutive pop star probably has her seat pushed all the way forward.
Hopefully she gets to enjoy this Mustang on the highway, and isn't just using it to navigate traffic on the way to work - though those American flag pants hanging off behind the rear seats certainly seem likely to show up sometime soon in a music video or album cover.
3 Mercedes-Benz W123
To the untrained eye, Lady Gaga's big Mercedes-Benz sedan might seem like a strange choice for a super wealthy pop star, but car enthusiasts will quickly recognize it as one of the most rock-solid cars ever built. The W123 helped to cement Benz's reputation as a manufacturer who produced cars that were meant to last, and with stately lines and a variety of engine options, they've got a style all to their own, as well.
Diesel W123s have been known to easily reach 300,000 miles on the odometer with minimal maintenance - maybe this car is Gaga's insurance in case her career falters, and she's forced to sell the rest of her impressive collection.
2 Mercedes-Benz E350
While modern Mercedes-Benz products have regressed a bit towards the industry standard of planned obsolescence (at least compared to the good old days), they still offer copious luxury, powerful engines, and the opportunity to pass through the world totally incognito - all features that a world famous pop star might want when picking out a car.
Sure, Gaga seems to love her fans even more than most celebs, but sometimes a little privacy is nice, easily accomplished with the near limousine-level tint job on this E350 sedan, which is otherwise a complete departure from many of the classics and sportier cars that Gaga is caught driving in public.
1 Porsche Boxster
Porsche's Boxster continues on the manufacturer's commitment to keeping a relatively affordable sports car in their model line up. After the 1960's 912, the 70's 914, and the 80s 944, the Boxster is actually much more upscale and offers a stellar driving experience - some Porsche fans think the Boxster might even cut into 911 sales thanks to its performance to price ratio.
And while Lady Gaga definitely doesn't have to worry about how much a Boxster costs, given the mint condition classics and modern supercars that make up the rest of her collection, she could easily do worse than this tiny mid-engined convertible.
