Kevin Hart began his career as a stand-up comedian working on the East Coast club circuit. After winning a slew of amateur competitions, he made the transition to film acting with a recurring role for three episodes on Judd Apatow's TV series, Undeclared. He then transitioned to feature films, with small roles in early 2000s comedies like Scary Movie 3 and Soul Plane. Known as one of the hardest working actors in Hollywood, Hart has segued to blockbuster films and stadium-filling comedy tours, and has become one of the major superstars of both industries. He has starred alongside fellow comedians Will Ferrell and Jack Black, and has made a number of action comedies with wrestler turned leading man Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.

Updated April 2022: If you're a fan of Kevin Hart and his work, you'll be happy to know that we've updated this article with more details surrounding his car collection.

From his comedy performances to his plethora of film roles, Hart has amassed an enormous fortune. He resides mainly in Los Angeles when not traveling for filming on location, and like many LA film stars who revel in the automotive culture of Southern California, Hart has amassed quite a collection himself. His tastes range from modern sports cars to classic muscle, from family hauling SUVs to custom rock crawlers. But like so many car enthusiasts, Hart can't have everything (even if he certainly can afford more than most). He's also featured in films, advertisements, and TV shows with some of the world's most impressive cars, and there's no doubt those roles contribute to his everyday passion for vehicles of all types. 12 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Edition

via velgen20

Any time a Mercedes-Benz wears AMG badges, chances are it's a solid choice for the rich and famous. The team up has brought us many amazing cars over the years, but the power, luxury, and style of an AMG have rarely eclipsed the SLS coupe.

Hearkening back to one of the world's most beautiful (and most valuable) cars, the 300 SL "Gullwing", the SLS in Black Edition offers owners a sleek exterior, plus an upgraded powertrain featuring 622 horsepower and 468 lb-ft of torque.

11 Ferrari 488 Spider

via start point exotics

No superstar car collection is complete without a couple of Ferraris thrown into the mix, and Kevin Hart has certainly chosen a solid selection from the Ferrari lineup. The 488 Spider won all kinds of industry awards after its debut in 2015, thanks to futuristic styling, impeccable handling, and the car's heart and soul: a twin-turbocharged V8 mounted behind the cockpit that cranks out 661 horsepower and 561 lb-ft of torque.

Those stats out of a 3.9 liter engine allowed for owners to boast that their 488 featured Ferrari's highest specific output engine ever made up to that time, and was good to launch the svelte Spider from 0-60 mph in 3 seconds.

10 Pontiac GTO

via classic cars of sarasota

Living as an actor in Los Angeles pretty much makes it mandatory to own a convertible for top-down cruising on the Pacific Coast Highway, and not many cars sound more perfect for the job than Kevin Hart's Pontiac GTO.

The first generation muscle car, with slight modifications like big chrome wheels, seems to dwarf the small star thanks to its long hood, which hopefully houses a beefy 6.6-liter V8 cranking out 360 horsepower and 438 lb-ft of torque - though LA traffic might mean Hart will likely have opted to go with the automatic three speed rather than a Hurst-shifted four speed transmission.

9 Ferrari 458 Spider

When the Ferrari 458 debuted for the 2010 model year, it took over as the Italian manufacturer's premier mid-engined sports coupe. The Spider version, released for 2011, offers a top-down driving experience, which should prove all the more enjoyable thanks to the burbling soundtrack of a naturally aspirated 4.5-liter V8 mounted right behind the driver's head.

That engine produces 562 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque, with a stratospheric 9,000 RPM redline. With supple tan leather and matte wheels, a 458 in white was just about at the top of the heap at the beginning of this decade.

8 Mercedes-Benz G65 AMG

Via: Ag luxury wheels

Mercedes-Benz's legendary G-Wagen has earned its reputation for off-roading prowess, while simultaneously becoming just about standard fare for the rich and famous in Los Angeles. Kevin Hart's G-Wagen isn't any G-Wagen, though, and in G65 AMG spec it's set up more for outright power and impressive entrances than for actual dirt road exploring.

Under the square exterior lies a twin-turbocharged V12 engine with 603 horsepower, good enough to send the big SUV, which weighs in at more than 6,000 pounds, from 0-60 in under six seconds. A roaring exhaust and those black wheels with performance tires on them simultaneously point to the fact that this beast is meant for tearing up city streets.

7 GMC Yukon XL Denali

via creativegentleman.com

Hart doesn't just live a life of film sets, comedy stages, and performance cars, however - he's also got a family to think of when buying additions to his collection. The GMC Yukon Denali is a solid family hauler - essentially a rebadged Chevrolet Tahoe with a wide range of interior upgrades including active noise cancellation and active magnetic ride damping to go along with the GMC badging and all the typical features of the Tahoe's Z71 package.

The big XL Denali also offers four-wheel drive, seating for up to eight passengers, and plenty of cargo space - plus enough room for Hart's friend and costar Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson to go for a ride, as well.

6 Ford Mustang GT500E

Fans of the first generation Ford Mustang who lamented its power and handling relative to today's sports cars saw their greatest wishes come true with the release of the limited edition Mustang GT500E Super Snake. Even compared to Shelby's upgraded Mustangs of the late 1960s, the GT500E ups the game in huge ways.

The modern $150,000 'Stangs pack a 725 horsepower, supercharged 427 V8 under the hood, and they are built by Unique Performance - the Texas-based company that builds "Eleanor" (of Gone in 60 Seconds fame) reproductions with the full blessing of Carroll Shelby himself. With Hart's recent success, he'd better keep a close eye on his Super Snake whenever Nic Cage is around.

5 Aston Martin Vanquish

Despite the never-ending and incessantly misleading swirl of rumors surrounding which actor will be chosen to take on the role of the next James Bond, it seems highly unlikely that a non-British comedian is the right man for the job. But still, Hart looks perfectly dapper and suave next to his Aston Martin Vanquish, the successor to a former Bond car featured in 2002 Die Another Day.

Even though that Vanquish had cloaking technology and plenty of nifty gadgets, it still couldn't keep up with its modern sibling thanks to a 5.9-liter V12 which produces around 570 horsepower and 457 lb-ft of torque - good enough to launch the nearly 4,000 pound coupe to 60 miles per hour in 4.1 seconds.

4 Land Rover Range Rover

Sometimes big life changes go alongside new car purchases, and Kevin Hart is clearly no exception. In this shot, he's picking up his wife, Eniko, and their newborn son, Kenzo, from the hospital - only one night after the baby was born.

The family's Range Rover should allow for plenty of comfort for the ride home, as the model has slowly but surely become focused more on luxury than on the epic off-roading capabilities that made parent company Land Rover's products a frequent sight all over the world. Blacked out window tints are common among the rich and famous, but in this case, they're even more warranted.

3 Ford Explorer

via forgiato.com

These days, Ford Explorers aren't quite the ubiquitous mid-sized SUVs that they were in the 1990s, when it seemed like Ford had a lock on the growing SUV market. But plenty of new Explorers are on the streets, some with law officers at the helm, and though the market share may have gone down, the Explorer still grabs plenty of headlines with every redesign.

Here, Kevin Hart is trying to help custom wheel manufacturer Forgiato grab some headlines of their own, with futuristic rims to match the design details of Ford's forward-facing aesthetic that the classic domestic builder hopes will bring the Explorer back to the head of the pack.

2 Maserati GranTurismo Convertible

via motor trend

Maserati's GranTurismo line has been around for a long time, but even as the brand's other offerings like the Quattroporte, Ghibli, and Levante boost sales, the GranTurismo seems to be a throwback from the early 2000s.

But there are plenty of reasons why the model has lived on, from its smooth yet aggressive exterior design to its luxurious interior trim (none of which is shared with Chrysler, unlike the other models), and a 32-valve V8 under the hood cranking out 454 horsepower and 384 lb-ft of torque. While those numbers might not seem overwhelming to connoisseurs of today's supercars, they're definitely plenty for a quick cruise down to the red carpet.

1 Ferrari 488 Spider

via europeprestigecarrent.com

It looks like Kevin Hart loves Ferraris so much that he actually owns more than one Ferrari 488 Spider - one blacked out and one in red with a black roof and metallic rims. At first, it might seem likely that he's gone ahead and wrapped his 488, as many famous folk do - but closer inspection reveals slight differences - from the tone of the brake calipers to the differences on the intake venting, it becomes clear he's got two separate cars.

Hopefully a modern sports car like the Ferrari 488 isn't like Jaguars of old, when common knowledge told any buyer to buy two, since one of them would be in the shop at all times.
