When Hello Kitty was first introduced to the world, it was way back in 1974. While the original intention was that this character would appeal to preadolescent girls, the success of the brand is undeniable and has broad appeal regardless of gender and age. I am sure there is no way the creator - Yuko Shimizu - could have imagined the brand growing to the level that it has. Hello Kitty has had a variety of different mediums where people have been able to enjoy the character. Which also means that there is no shortage of different types of merchandise that you can purchase of the character.

But how else are you going to show the world how much you love Hello Kitty then to be willing to go and drop a large amount of money. It was reported in 2018 that Hello Kitty has already raked in over $41 billion in revenue and even if you have no knowledge or interest in the franchise, you can agree that there is no way that Hello Kitty is going to disappear from society anytime soon. Especially because there are many examples where the fans of the franchise may come off as, let's just say, a little enthusiastic about how much they love Hello Kitty. Which also helps explain why the franchise has made so much money!

I'll warn you, there are some gorgeous cars below that are forever going to be altered due to the owner's love of Hello Kitty, but that might make you even more interested in the fact that the owner decided to show the world how much they love Hello Kitty.

16 This Driver Gets Stopped On a Regular Basis

The owner of this car has admitted in a past interview that they get asked about their car on a regular basis. Which means that hopefully she often receives compliments on the car. And if not, she definitely has the right attitude towards haters, "Don't let it ruin your day, my day begins when I start my awesome ZL1 HELLO KITTY CAMARO, All you will see is the dust I leave behind. Get a life, I have one and it's great." While not seen in this photo, the car also has scissor doors modified which probably does not downplay the number of people who notice this car. 15 This Smart Car Driver Had Some Interesting Choices

There are not many cars out there that you are going to see on the road that is smaller than the Smart Car. But just because there isn't a lot of space for the driver to work with doesn't mean there aren't some dedicated drivers out there who have still managed to let the world know about their different passions. Though just because this person could cover seemingly every angle of the car imaginable, definitely does not mean it was a decision that they should have done. At least the different coloured bows on the door might add a nice pop of colour?

14 At Least This BMW Isn't All Pink

It is very possible that if you took the decals off of this car, you'd be more than happy to find yourself driving around in this BMW. But that may just make the decals that this person chose to use all the more offensive and upsetting for you to have to stare at.

Though if we wanted to give this person some bonus points with their decision making, at least they did decide to not make their car the colour pink.

Which is an allure that as you've seen, many people on our list have fallen victim too, perhaps much to the disappointment of your eyesight.

13 This Audi Needs To Get Audi Here

If the owner of this Audi R8 V10 found themselves ever getting too upset about the negative comments that they may receive about their car, they can probably rest easy that at the very least they are still driving around in a beautiful car that can surely get them away from any haters in an awful hurry. Especially because the overall performance of which I'm sure was not minimized by the owner's love of Hello Kitty. The car was created by the company Cam-Shaft which is based out of Germany which is further proof that Hello Kitty is something that is loved and recognized around the world. (Source: forcegt.com).

12 There's No Saving This One

I'm sure that there may be many different characters that this driver finds themselves passionate about. But when you consider their car is covered top to bottom in Hello Kitty decals, including the huge one along the side of the car that is impossible to miss, I wouldn't be surprised if there is nothing fictional in the world that this driver loves more than Hello Kitty.

While tough to look at, at least they did a quality job.

Though maybe you think that it is extra interesting that the driver decided that their Hello Kitty should also have large wings on it's back giving off the resemblance of a stylistic and colourful butterfly.

11 Too Many Bows

There are many different things that people may love about Hello Kitty. But if you had to ask this particular fan, they may be a huge fan of the bow that you can often see on the Hello Kitty. Especially because they decided to take that bow design and paste it literally all over their car until there seemed to not be any more space. Though the several decals of Hello Kitty are also probably causing you to raise some eyebrows at their decision making. You may also not give them bonus points for putting a personalized license plate dedicated to Hello Kitty.

10 Kitty Bug

One of the best games you can play on long road trips with other people in the car is trying to recognize different "punch buggies" on the road. And then if you have the good fortune of noticing one before your traveling, you can yell out the colour of the car and give an - ideally light - punch on the arm.

This once vintage classic is now a modern flop.

But if you were driving around and saw this Hello Kitty car, you both may find yourselves too shocked by all the different designs to remember to call out Punch Buggy. And even if you did, what colour would you go with?

9 Off Road Ready

If you are driving around in a car like this, there is definitely a chance that you do not mind embracing the wilderness and going for some long drives that may leave your car in a pretty dirty state. But you can imagine this driver would probably find it pretty hard to get convinced to take their precious Hello Kitty car anywhere near dirt that could ruin the look. Though if you are of a similar opinion of myself, then you might think that their decals are doing a good enough job on their own of ruining the overall look of the car!

8 Eyelashes Not On Fleek

If there is one thing that I might be able to say about this driver in a definitive manner it's that they are probably very open to the idea of adding any type of decal to their car. Not necessarily something that is just Hello Kitty related. For along with the various Hello Kitty decals that they have - not to mention what seems to be car seat covers for the entire car - is the fact that this driver also went out and got eyelashes for their car. They didn't stop there though, as they also added the red ball to the front of their car ala Rudolph; though there is nothing wrong with trying to get into the festive spirit of Christmas!

7 Small Logo, Big Colour

There are several entries on our list where the car can perhaps not even be recognized underneath all of the different decals that the driver decided was absolutely necessary to have all over their car.

But at least in this driver's case, they have gone with a much more subtle choice when it comes to displaying their love of Hello Kitty.

Though perhaps this is just the starting point and it may only be a matter of time before the driver has gone and spent a solid amount of money on decals and other ways to pay homage to the lovable character.

6 More Like Hello Bad Idea

One of the silliest things that you can do is get on the road and decide that you want to live out a scene from Fast and the Furious. Because if we are just being real here, you aren't going to come off impressing anyone and you are also running a high chance that you are going to cause a serious accident that also is sure to not earn you any cool points. But when you consider this Hello Kitty fan also thought it was awesome to put Hello Racing on the side of their car, you would probably have a pretty hard time of convincing them that racing is as stupid an idea as it is.

5 We've Now Met Mrs. Kitty

There is no denying that every entry on this list is going to be representative of a driver who would be a fan of the franchise, Hello Kitty. Though "fan" may definitely be putting the word lightly when it comes to the next entry on the list that you are getting to feast your eyes on. Because this is the only driver on the list who took it upon themselves to add the words "Mrs. Kitty" to their decal choices. At least in the case of a fictional wedding, you don't have to find yourself worrying about the different costs that can be associated with a wedding!

4 At Least The Variety Is Nice

If you are a fan of variety, then there might not be an entry on this list that is more intriguing to you then the one we have above. Because while there are definitely a lot of different variations of the character featured on this car - including some that you think aren't a huge fan of - there are also probably some that you might actually find appealing to look at.

It always help to have a little variety.

And at least this driver did manage to show some restraint by not having the entire hood covered in Hello Kitty. But perhaps that's just one of their goals for the future.

3 Not Even A Lamborghini Is Safe

There may not be another entry on the list that plays homage to Hello Kitty in as subtle a way as this next driver did. As they just decided to embrace the pink aesthetic of the character, as well as adding the word kitty to their license plate. But the very fact that they decided to make this customization to a Lamborghini is a crime that you may not be able to find yourself forgiving so easily! At least the benefit is that it wouldn't take very long for this driver to decide to take their car in a different direction. (Source: Pinterest).

2 Crossbones Don't Make This Hello Kitty Tougher Either

Now I don't want to make any statement here that is too offensive, but Hello Kitty, at least to myself, is not exactly a character that exudes toughness. Especially in comparison to other characters like Batman! But that didn't discourage this person from letting the world know that they think Hello Kitty is a tough enough character to deserve some of the decals that they went with on the back of their car.

Toughness is all about confidence.

Though the kind of person who gets these decals might also be the kind of person who may end up being a little bit too aggressive if they find that you may not share their same enthusiasm for Hello Kitty.
