A lot of people like to modify their cars to give them a personal touch. Yet, some individuals go overboard with these modifications and the results end up being catastrophic; ultimately, there are pretentious car mods only celebrities can afford.
Celebrities are very good at this, as it is often seen how some of them take the most luxurious cars and then turn them into something disastrous. Since these actors, singers, and athletes are extremely wealthy, it's no problem for them to spend large sums of money to customize their cars. However, someone should tell them that there’s a slight difference between self-expression and a complete lack of taste.
While it is true that there is nothing wrong with wanting to express our tastes and interests to the world by modifying our cars, it is also true that some celebs have gone too far in this process and end up modifying their cars in the worst ways.
10 Josh Gordon: Porsche Panamera
Josh Gordon is famous for playing for the Seattle Seahawks and for having a rather troubled athletic career, and besides that, he's dubbed as one of the celebrities that shouldn't be allowed to modify their cars. Back in 2013, Gordon decided to buy a very elegant car to celebrate a good year on the field, and he went with the Porsche Panamera that cost him around $90,000.
Although the NFL player chose a very stylish car, his choices regarding paint and wheels were not good at all. Gordon’s Porsche features a custom camouflage paint job and orange wheels that make the car look awful. However, the player seems pretty happy with his car's aesthetics.

LeBron James is a famous NBA player. Due to his successful career and his multi-million dollar contract with Nike, he can afford any car he wants. However, this $393,700 Lamborghini Aventador was a gift from Nike to celebrate the X1 King's Pride floral shoes, a new addition to James' sneaker line.
The car itself is a beautiful machine, but the floral wrapping that the company decided to put on it to match the shoes is hard to love. It might have sounded like a good idea, but the result was catastrophic; it didn't do any justice to that amazing car.

Since Hogan’s signature colors in the ring are red and yellow, he decided to paint his 1991 Dodge Viper bright red with thick yellow stripes and a big sticker on the hood that says Hulkster.
The car's body paint design is not classy in any sense of the word, but at least the beloved American wrestler found a good use for this disastrous vehicle by auctioning it off and giving the money to charity in 2019. Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty, also known as Nicki Minaj, is a Trinidadian-American singer/rapper known for her colorful costumes, wigs, and her bold rhymes. Nicky Minaj's debut studio album is called "Pink Friday" and since then, this color has been her signature on almost everything she wears or displays in front of her audience.
That's why the rapper decided to modify her originally blue Lamborghini Aventador with a blinding bright pink wrap and tacky pink interiors. The problem here is that the Lamborghini Aventador is a sports car designed to look strong and elegant, which is almost impossible when the vehicle is covered in fluorescent pink.
