The rising popularity of pickups has caught the attention of all social classes. Many years ago, the only people who purchased pickups were the ones who needed it to haul heavy loads and transport cargo. These days, many drivers purchase pickups as a lifestyle choice.

Apart from the safety and better road visibility, pickups also offer great off-road capability. The F-series has been the best selling vehicle in the U.S. for several decades, and the rich and famous have noticed.

Country singers aren't the only celebrities to purchase pickups, as movie stars and presenters wanted to get in on the fuss. Although celebrities such as Tim Allen own supercars, they can't stay away from pickups. The inherent masculinity that a pickup allows is enough to get celebrities rushing to pickup dealerships.

Fans are used to seeing celebrities in lavish cars such as Bugatti and Lamborghini, but they're not used to seeing them in pickup trucks. The paparazzi spotted movie stars such as Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson driving subpar pickups, but we wanted to find out which celebrities are cruising around town in awesome pickups. So, we gleaned photos from the streets and garages to find out the pickups that celebrities are driving.

25 Tim Allen - 1956 Ford F100

Many people are surprised to find out that Allen has an impressive car collection. The Home Improvement and Santa Clause star has a few vintage vehicles parked in his garage that have become collectibles.

Some of the cars in his garage include a Ford RS200, Shelby Cobra and a Cadillac from the 1950s. When GQ questioned Allen about his car collection, he stated that the collection was eclectic and that he had more cars than necessary. I wonder what Allen would say about the number of cars that Jay Leno owns?

24 Brad Paisley - 2014 Chevrolet Signature Silverado

via Dark Cars Wallpapers

The only thing better than owning a spectacular pickup such as Silverado is having the manufacturer name it after you. Although Brad Paisley doesn't race cars like Jeff Gordon or Tony Stewart, he did receive a signature model at the 2013 SEMA Auto Show, according to Top Speed.

Paisley partnered with Chevrolet to introduce a vehicle that incorporates Paisley's logo on the front doors and intended to promote the Silverado's off-road capabilities. Since Paisley is a country star, the partnership should raise awareness of the Silverado.

23 Channing Tatum - 1957 Chevrolet 3100

via Just Jared

Although Tatum is only 38-years-old, he prefers classic pickups than the latest models. The Magic Mike star prefers to drive around Los Angeles in his green Chevrolet 3100 pickup than a Lamborghini Aventador. It seems that Tatum is frugal and understands the power of the dollar.

Had he purchased a supercar, it would have depreciated, whereas a classic pickup such as the 1957 Chevrolet 3100 that Tatum owns can go only up in value. The pickup is destined to make him a lot of money in the future at an auction.

22 Ken Block - Ford F-150 RaptorTrax

via CW Noticias

After selling his shares in DC Shoes, Block shifted his focus to Hoonigan Industries, an apparel brand for auto enthusiasts. Although known for rally racing, Block has participated in snowboarding, skateboarding and motocross.

Block left Subaru to join Ford and received several cars from the manufacturer. His daily driver is the F-150, but Block also uses another F-150 to traverse across the snow. Besides the F-150, Block owns a 1977 Ford F-150 pickup called the Hoonitruck.

21 Scott Caan - 1939 Ford

via Zimbio

His rap career didn't pan out, so Caan decided to pursue acting. Being in front of the camera worked out much better for Caan than behind the microphone, as he has starred in blockbusters such as Gone in 60 Seconds, Ocean's Twelve and Boiler Room.

Caan's recent project is the recurring role of Danny Williams on Hawaii Five-0. Much like Tatum, Caan prefers classic pickups rather than the Raptor. He chose a blue 1939 Ford pickup, which looks breathtaking. Although the car is 80 years old, it's in immaculate condition.

20 Kid Rock - 2017 GMC Sierra

via Rocky Ridge Trucks

Kid Rock has a talent for infusing hip-hop, rock, and country to make hit singles. Since he prefers the unconventional routes, when he purchased a GMC pickup, it was different from the base model. Kid Rock joined the Rocky Ridge Family when he purchased his first truck, but the 2017 Sierra is Kid's second purchase from Rocky Ridge.

The pickup contains a K2Package, consisting of 6" suspension lift, 35" Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ tires, Power Side Steps, Custom Fender Flares, Stealth Coated Grille, and other accessories, according to Rocky Ridge Trucks.

19 Kourtney Kardashian - Chevrolet Silverado

via Zimbio

One of the biggest reality television stars is 5' 1'' in height and drives a pickup so large that she needs a step ladder to get inside the cabin. Being a Kardashian means that you don't drive a regular car like most people, so when Kourtney bought a Chevrolet Silverado, she ensured that it looked different from the rest on the market.

The massive vehicle gave Kourtney problems when she tried to park it in Los Angeles, so Kim took the wheel to help her little sister. It seemed that Kourtney was biting more than she could chew.

18 Glen Plake - 1959 Chevrolet

via Twitter

Glen Plake is a skiing icon who participated in races in Baja and owned vehicles such as the 1940 Jeep CJ and a 2002 Ford F-350. Plake's first vehicle was the 1959 Chevrolet, which he sold and regretted. When he saw the ad for his first car, he repurchased it, according to Motor Trend.

"I just happened to be sitting on this airplane, and I was reminiscing going, 'Man I wish I had my old '59, gosh dang it, I miss it. I can't believe I let that thing go.' And then boom, this ad pops up, and I see these stickers, and it was like, 'Are you kidding me?' It was pretty funny when I told my wife, 'You won't believe what I just happened to find on Craigslist. She goes, 'What?' I showed her the picture, she's like, 'What time are we leaving?' I'm like, 'We're going right now," Plake said.

17 John Mayer - 2014 Ford Earth Roamer

via Car Reviews

When Mayer sang, "Your body is a wonderland," he must've been talking about his future car. The Ford Earth Roamer might look more like an RV than a pickup, but Ford based the design from the F-550.

After Mayer purchased the Earth Roamer, he posted pictures of it on Instagram with a caption, 'I am a proud owner of this most formidable go-anywhere, live-anywhere vehicle,' according to Times-Call. The Earth Roamer has an overcab bunk compartment, a bathroom, shower, kitchenette and seating for eight.

16 Dwayne Johnson - 2016 Ford F-150

via Youtube

You didn't expect The Rock to squeeze into a Mini, did you? The muscle movie star teamed up with Ford to promote the automaker's cars by starring in the manufacturer's commercials.

Since Johnson is a Ford ambassador, he owns a customized F-150 and stated that he couldn't fit into a supercar such as a Lamborghini or a Ferrari. Johnson loves the F-150 so much that he gifted one to his stunt double. He has also bought cars for his dad, domestic servant, and cousins. Johnson is a big teddy bear.

15 Amber Marshall - 2014 Dodge Ram 3500

via Autotrader.ca

Don't mistake Marshall for a girl who only paints her fingernails and plays on her phone, as the country girl likes to get behind the wheel of a big pickup and show that she grew up on a ranch.

Besides being a country singer, Marshall appeared in several television films and series, most notably as Amy Fleming in the CBS series Heartland. When Marshall isn't filming Heartland or starring in movies, she uses her Ram 3500 to get around her farm ranch outside Calgary, Alberta.

14  Lady Gaga - Ford F-150 SVT Lightning

via Pinterest

Besides wearing dresses made out of meat, Lady Gaga has driven the Ford Bronco and a Ford SVT Lightning. Most would picture the pop star to be behind the wheel of a supercar, but the Bad Romance singer has an affinity for pickups and SUVs.

One of the cars in her collection is the Ford F-150 SVT Lightning. The car has a 5.4-liter V8 engine, capable of pumping out 360 horsepower and 440lb-ft of torque. Considering that Gaga got her driver's license at age 30, she picked a fast car as one of her early purchases.

13 Luke Bryan - Chevrolet Silverado

via Chevrolet Forum

Bryan is a country singer who started his career by writing songs for Travis Tritt and Bily Currington. Besides selling more than seven million albums worldwide, Bryan received an Academy of Country Music Awards in 2013.

Considering Bryan has a tremendous fanbase and hails from the countryside, Chevrolet figured that he would make the perfect ambassador for the brand. The perk of being a Chevrolet ambassador is that you get to drive their vehicles. Bryan's blue Silverado is a sight for sore eyes.

12 Ben Affleck - Dodge Ram 2500

via Mt Ephram Chrysler Dodge

When Affleck isn't on the set of DC Comics' Batman, he is cruising around town in a black Dodge Ram 2500. One of the main reasons that the pickup market has veered toward Ram trucks is its ability to haul heavy loads and endure a tremendous amount of punishment.

Dodge Ram pickups have garnered a reputation for being strong, but the only aspect that the automaker needs to work on is the reliability. Although Ram trucks can endure harsh conditions, the pickups are prone to breakdowns.

11 Blake Shelton - Nissan Titan

via Nissan News

Some guys have all the luck. Besides having been married to Marinda Lambert, Shelton is also dating Gwen Stafani. If that wasn't enough to make us jealous, then Shelton's rising music career should do the trick.

When Shelton went on tour, Nissan wanted to partner with the country star, so the manufacturer sponsored his Doing It To Country Songs tour. One of the perks of having Nissan as a sponsor is that Shelton is the proud owner of a Nissan Titan; it makes sense.

10 Jon Huertas - 1960 Ford F100

via Truck Trend

Best known for his role as Sergeant Antonio Espera in HBO's Generation Kill, Huertas is the proud owner of a fantastic 1969 Ford F100. The F-series has been the best selling vehicle in the U.S. for several decades, so it makes sense that collectors should hold on to their classic Ford pickups, as the cars could be lucrative in a few years.

Huertas' Ford is part of the third generation of the F-series. The combination of the green and white colors make Huertas' pickup looking stunning.

9 Josh Duhamel - GMC Sierra Denali

via Commercial Truck Success Blog

Duhamel made a name for himself by starring in brilliant television programs such as Las Vegas but moved onto the big screen to star in Transformers. Before he partnered with GMC, Duhamel owned an old Sierra Denali, which he drove for several years before switching to a new model.

In honor of the forces appreciation month, GMC enlisted the support of Duhamel to act as a campaign ambassador to increase awareness and raise funds to improve the lives of courageous service members.

8  Brantley Gilbert - Ford F-250

via Rocky Ridge Trucks

While most country singers wear cowboy hats and boots, Gilbert sports arm tattoos and looks like a lead singer of a rock band. While many country stars opt for a Silverado or a Ram, Gilbert has chosen the F-250 as his daily rider.

Gilbert took delivery of his Dirt Road Anthem Rocky Ridge Stealth SuperDuty from Ford Presidents' Award-Winning Athens Ford. The car features powder coated wheels wrapped in "35 Mickey Thompson AZ tires, as well as the brushed aluminum front grille and fender flares coating in textured layers of resin before sealed with a layer of polyurethane.

7 Luke Bryan - Chevrolet Suburban

via Chevrolet Pressroom

Considering that Bryan has a strong relationship with Chevrolet, it made sense for them to collaborate on a concept design. Chevrolet used Bryan's Huntin,' Fishin' and Lovin' Everyday motto to design the Chevrolet Suburban. Although the Suburban is an SUV, Chevrolet used a custom Silverado for SEMA 2017.

The car has a 5.3-liter V8 engine that spurts out 355 horsepower and 383lb-feet of torque, 35-inch off-road tires wrapped around 22-inch orange and black wheels, according to Auto Evolution.

6 Paul McDonald - Toyota Tacoma

via Pinterest

Idol fans will remember McDonald finishing eighth on season ten. Since then, he was the lead singer for the Grand Magnolias. When McDonald began dating singer Emily Kinney, the couple formed the band The Sweetheart Deal.

When not singing romance songs with his girlfriend, McDonald is cruising around in a Toyota Tacoma. The Tacoma is a strong competitor to the Honda Ridgeline but provides five mpg less on the highway. Tacoma's top speed is 115 mph.
