Motorbikes really are a person's best friend, especially celebrities. That's right, A-listers all over the world are often caught by paparazzi aboard a motorcycle, or at least next to one. Yes, according to most celebrities, motorcycles are a lot cooler than flashy cars and futuristic automobiles. And, guess what? They are right. Motorbikes are a lot easier to look after, a lot easier to store, and a lot easier to handle. Plus, they go faster than cars—well, most of the time anyway.
Furthermore, motorcycles require a cool outfit, and what does every A-lister in town want? An excuse to go shopping for more clothes, of course! Motorcycles make you stand out from the crowd with a uniform that makes people automatically interesting in what you've got to say. Therefore, the motorcycle acts a perfect accessory for any celebrity across the world. Yes, they really are that great.
However, these days there is still a tense debate with regards to motorcycles and motor vehicles. For some, motorbikes embody the very notion of super-fast speeds and enormously cool rides. In fact, they are the epitome of sophistication, not to mention sincere notoriety. Yes, automobiles are great, but they just don't have that special something that most motorcycles contain. So, to celebrate the success of the motorcycle, here are 10 celebrities who own the coolest motorbikes in the world (and 10 who ride the lamest).

That's right, "Bear" (real name Edward Michael) is a known bike enthusiast, and has had a fair few Triumphs in his garage throughout his life. That's right, Cooper was recently spotted aboard a red Triumph Thruxton, a motorcycle that is a firm favorite among real bike enthusiasts. Yes, the one time "World's Sexiest Man" has somehow managed to get even sexier, though the improvement is mostly down to his red metal machine. The gift, which was later called a "push present", was a customized motorbike that he had built himself. Pink later wrote, "I give you babies and you build me motorcycles. Some girls like diamonds, I like heavy metal and carbon-fiber and chrome."
16 Sick Bike: Cher (Harley-Davidson)
Sadly, a lot of rock stars like to talk the talk but not walk the walk. Thankfully, Cher isn't one of these rock stars and is often snapped riding away on her Harley-Davidson. That's right, Cher is an avid fan of the legendary motorcycling brand and has a few of the beasts locked up in her numerous garages. Over the years, Cher has documented her love for the bran and has even racked up a few followers in the process. She’s a big motorcycle rider. I want to go through Rome with her."
15 Sick Bike: Ryan Reynolds (Custom Triumph Thruxton Cafe Racer)
Not many people know this, but Ryan Reynolds is a huge motorcycle enthusiast and sports a sweet collection of exotic bikes. However, it is his Triumph Thruxton cafe racer that is the love of his life, with Reynolds even dedicating a short film to the motorbike. That's right, Reynolds, who claims that riding his bike on long rides helps with stress, documented his love between man and machine in a short movie about riding bikes. In addition to his custom Triumph Thruxton Cafe Racer, Reynolds also owns a custom 1964 Triumph 650 (Nine O’ Clock Gun), a Ducati Paul Smart Limited Edition, a Triumph Bonneville, a Triumph Tiger, and 1975 Honda CB750.

13 Sick Bike: Angelina Jolie (Triumph Street Triple R)
Angelina Jolie sure loves motorcycles and has a number of exotic and expensive motorbikes to prove it. That's right, Jolie, who first got into motorbikes while playing Lara Croft in the Tomb Raider series, is often spotted zipping around town on one of her many amazing motorcycles. In fact, Jolie has become so good at riding that she now conducts her own stunts within her own movies. For instance, while filming the movie Salt, Jolie did all of her own motorcycling stunts and used the fantastic Triumph Street Triple to do them with. Take that, Tom Cruise.
12 Sick Bike: Tom Hardy (Mutt Motorcycle)
Tom Hardy has a knack for making anything cool, even dodgy motorcycles. That's right, Hardy, who is relatively new to the motorcycling scene, has been pictured aboard his Mutt motorcycle several times. However, just to make it that bit better, Hardy has also been seen sporting a CBT license, proving that safety always comes first. Yes, even Hardy manages to make a CBT license look rock-and-roll, with the extra accessories somehow making him cooler. As for the motorcycle, the Mutt motorcycle is a firm favorite among new riders and is regarded as one of the best.
11 Sick Bike: David Beckham (Custom Triumph Amazon Scrambler)
Soccer superstar David Beckham is one of the coolest men on the planet and is what most men want to be when they are older. That's right, Beckham can often be seen riding his bikes all over the world, and recently starred in his own TV show documenting his rides through the Brazilian jungle. However, his favorite bike is said to be the Triumph Scrambler, a bike that is often considered the best in the world.
10 Boring Bike: Keanu Reeves (Arch Motorcycles)
Poor Keanu Reeves, whatever he does he still manages to look uncool, even when riding a motorcycle. That's right, Reeves is a hardcore motorcyclist and first began riding in his early 20s. Discussing his love of riding, Reeves recently stated, "I started when I was 22, I was filming in Munich, Germany, at this film studio, and this young girl had a gorgeous (Kawasaki) Enduro motorcycle which she would drive around. One day I asked her to teach me how to ride it. So I started to ride that bike around the stage when she wasn’t using it, and when I got back to Los Angeles, I got the first bike I saw that was similar. . . . " These days, Reeves has created his own motorcycling brand, Arch motorcycles, a brand that doesn't quite cut it when it comes to super motorbikes.
9 Boring Bike: Charlie Hunnam (Harley Dyna Super Glide)
It seems poor Charlie Hunnam has run out of imagination, especially when it comes to choosing motorcycles. That's right, Hunnam, who starred in the extremely popular motorcycle show, Sons of Anarchy, seemingly rides the same bike as his character did when on the show. Yes, Hunnam recently stated, "I ride the same bike that I rode on Sons, a Harley Dyna Super Glide. You know, I wish I wasn’t the guy who rode the same bike he rode on the show, but the problem is there’s no better bike out there." Sadly, Hunnam is mistaken, and there are millions of bikes out there that are a million times better. Sorry, Charlie!
8 Boring Bike: Orlando Bloom (Custom BMW S1000R)
Orlando Bloom will just never be cool. It's a fact. Sadly, Bloom hasn't quite cottoned on yet and still insists on riding his motorcycle whenever he can. Furthermore, Bloom's motorcycle is one of the weakest out there, with the BMW S1000R a mere carbon copy when compared to other machines. However, Bloom doesn't seem to care and was recently spotted teaming up with BMW to create a custom-made S1000R for his own personal use. Sadly, the result didn't quite the mustard, with the motorcycle extremely minimal, boring, and even worse, slow. Oh well, there is always next time.
7 Boring Bike: Justin Timberlake (Custom Harley-Davidson)
Justin Timberlake doesn't look like your average motorcyclist, especially when you compare him to the likes of David Beckham or Tom Hardy. However, that doesn't seem to stop him, with Timberlake insisting that he is one of the biggest motorcycling enthusiasts in the world. Interestingly, Timberlake seems to be always spotted on the same motorcycle, alluding to the fact that he might only own just one. The motorcycle in question is a custom-built Harley-Davidson, a bike that is also too big for the pint-sized pop star. That's right, the bike doesn't quite suit the famed singer, with Timberlake too small to even fit on it.
6 Boring Bike: Hugh Laurie (Triumph Bonneville)
Hugh Laurie sure loves his motorcycles and has a large collection to prove it. That's right, Laurie, who is most famous for playing the role of Doctor House on the acclaimed TV show House, is said to be a motorcycling superfan. However, Laurie doesn't seem to fit the bill when it comes to cool motorcycling riders especially when it comes to his bike of choice. Yes, Laurie currently owns a Yamaha XJR1300 (not bad), a Honda CBR600RR (seen better) and a few customs-made bad-boys, bikes that all have a reputation for slow speeds and bad handling. However, it's the Triumph Bonneville that seems to suit Laurie the least, with the bike more suited to someone who seems to know what they are doing. No offense, Hugh!
5 Boring Bike: Adam Levine (Harley-Davidson FLSTF Fat Boy)
Adam Levine seems like the sort of person who would do anything for a photo opportunity, even if it included a dangerous situation. For example, Levine has often been spotted getting aboard his motorcycle and pretending to ride it. That's right, any time Levine is spotted riding a motorbike, he looks severely out of place and, in some cases, scared. Therefore, it comes as a surprise to see Levine riding a Harley-Davidson Fat Boy, a bike that needs a whole host of handling and maintenance. However, Levine is adamant that the bike is pride and joy and recently referred to it as "first born child."
4 Boring Bike: Liev Schreiber And Naomi Watts (Vespa)
Vespas might have a sense of nostalgia, especially within film and TV. However, in reality, they are often considered to be large pieces of junk. That's right, referred to as a poor man's motorbike, the Vespa is basically just a plain old scooter, with nothing really special about it all. Therefore, when celebrities are pictured aboard one, they automatically lose cool points, especially when they are pictured riding them together. Yes, Hollywood's golden couple, Liev Schreiber And Naomi Watts were recently spotted sailing zooming around New York City, wriggling in between oncoming vehicles and heavy traffic. Sadly, despite them being major players in the Hollywood elite, the Vespa still managed to make them extremely uncool.
3 Boring Bike: Brad Pitt (Custom Motorcycle)
For some reason, Brad Pitt doesn't quite pull off riding motorcycles as well as his ex-wife, Angelina Jolie. That's right, although Pitt might love his motorbiking in general, he always seems stiff and out of place when snapped aboard one. Pitt recently claimed that his love of motorcycles comes from the anonymity that they give him, with the bike enabling him to shoot off and away from photographers whenever he likes. In addition, Pitt has a number of motorcycles in his garage, from a Royal Enfield Bullet 500 to a Yamaha R1. However, it's his custom-made motorcycle that he is most often snapped upon, even though it doesn't look that interesting
2 Boring Bike: Jay Leno (Y2K Jet-Powered Bike)
The MTT Y2K Turbine Motorcycle, otherwise known as the Y2K Turbine Superbike, is one of the strangest, yet most interesting, motorcycles in the world. The motorcycle is unique in that it is not mass produced, with every bike made by hand according to the buyer's specifications. Famed television host Jay Leno was one of the first to purchase the model, later claiming, "It really does scare you...but it's great fun." However, although the motorcycle might sound fun, it is still pretty scary, with Leno later confessing that while at a traffic light, the heat from the bike's exhaust melted the bumper of the car behind him.
1 Boring Bike: Ben Affleck (BMW S1000RR)
Hollywood B-lister Ben Affleck recently proved that he was still weirder than ever when he was spotted dangerously riding his motorcycle around Los Angeles with no hands. Yes, dressed in a black leather jacket with blue Dad jeans, Affleck played up to photographers who had been following him around Southern California all day. In fact, Affleck even managed to make his white BMW S1000 RR uncool, with the motorbike not looking its finest with Affleck at its helm. Thankfully, Affleck managed to put both hands back on the handlebars and managed to get home in one piece.
