Alright, well, here's the thing. Everyone knows that there are a ton of celebs out there who just love to spend all of their hard earned cash. A lot of them end up in the gutter or at least completely broke. That should not be a surprise to anyone. I mean...we all know just how hard it is to be a celeb making millions of dollars every year.

Anyway, there are a decent number of celebs out there who love nothing more than to spend all of that nutty amount of money on the fanciest or fastest cars out there. Some just stick those cars into museums that they own. Others rent out a race track...and others just ride down Santa Monica Boulevard as fast as they can, without getting nailed by the cops.

However, there are actually quite a few celebs who have gone out of their way to buy some pretty nice cars...even though they clearly know nothing about cars, or never intended to drive them in the first place. There are even some celebs out there who either just don't bother to drive or can't even drive because they managed to fail their driving test! Time to get in gear and see which celebs are clueless and which are actual gearheads.

25 Clueless - Bella Thorne

Alright, so it's not like Thorne doesn't have decent taste in cars at the very least. That being said, she doesn't even drive them herself! I guess it's possible that she could know a ton about cars without driving them, but in my mind, someone is pretty clueless until they actually get behind the wheel. Her mommy drives her around because she's afraid to be in charge of the gas and brake. I figured that someone would be more concerned having someone else in control of where the car goes. Maybe that's just me.

24 Gearhead - Lebron James

I don't know how James fits into all of his cars since he's one of those giant NBA players but he apparently can fit into this driverless car above that was handed to him for being the gearhead that he is. That being said, he's got a pretty interesting range of rides. A Bentley Continental GT, a Camaro SS, a Merc S63 AMG...even a Ferrari F430 Spyder. I think that he knows a bit about what a sweet ride is, for sure.

23 Clueless - Christina Aguilera

I'm sure it does not surprise anyone to know that Christina Aguilera is a bit clueless when it comes to her cars and her driving. In fact, Christina actually just can't drive. I guess to be fair to her side of things, she is apparently of the mind that she is just too concerned about hitting the paparazzi when she is driving. I'm not sure if she's worried that she'll accidentally do it or if she will purposely go out of her way to do it. Either way, it's pretty obvious that someone who can't drive can't really be a gearhead.

22 Gearhead - SnoopDogg

I am going to guess that no one is surprised to know that Snoop's favorite type of car is anything that happens to be a lowrider. I think that seems pretty par for the course for him. I mean...his strange customizations and paint jobs on his lowriders are something else. He has some pretty classic cars from Pontiac and Buick and while they may not be the priciest of cars, they are certainly customized to be his very own, no matter what people think.

21 Clueless - Ed Sheeran

Alright, all someone has to have done is to watch the Top Gear episode with Ed Sheeran to know that he is absolutely clueless when it comes to being behind the wheel. Of course, he is pretty young, so there is that, I suppose. But this guy had actually never even driven a car until he showed up to film the episode with the Stig. And I'll be totally honest here...he did a pretty ridiculous job when driving the reasonably priced car.

20 Gearhead - Shaquille O’Neal

Alright, all anyone needs to do is just take one glance at this epic showroom to know that O'Neal has got a pretty decent mind when it comes to the wonderful world of cars. And it's not like he has to worry about money so all of his cars are pretty fantastically pricey and slick. I mean sure, he has a Smart ForTwo convertible, but he also has a stretch Lambo Gallardo and he has his cars customized to fit his giant body.

19 Clueless - Kanye West

Ok, I know some people might think I'm wrong to say that Kanye is a bit clueless when it comes to his rides because he does indeed have some sweet machines. I mean, he is the proud owner of an Aston Martin DB9, and a Merc SLR McLaren, but anyone who allows his Porsche Panamera to be stolen and crashed into a house in Hawaii is not truly worthy of the title of gearhead, in my opinion. I'm sure Kanye will get over it.

18 Gearhead - Randall Gay

Randall is a pretty great guy if anyone here is a Patriots fan. For those who aren't, let's just stick to the cars. This guy has got some sweet rides, for sure. Bentley Continental GT? Yes please. Lambo Gallardo Spyder? Oh, I think so. I think the fact that his tastes are so diverse allows him the title of gearhead. That and he gets his cars customized as well and knows what he wants in a sweet ride too...so that helps.

17 Clueless - Kate Beckinsale

Alright so, I have to be honest here...Kate Beckinsale is pretty awesome. She is one of my favorite vampires to watch go around and do...anything. However, it turns out that she actually doesn't drive (outside of whatever film or show she might be in). She did not pass her driving test and just decided that that was it and there was no point in going out to try again. That seems pretty lazy to me. Or a little childish, but it's not like she can't afford to have a driver anyway.

16 Gearhead - Ralph Lauren

Alright, this guy has got way too many cars to even bother starting to go through his inventory. And each and every car is a staggering piece of automotive history. It is amazing and annoying...mainly because I don't have the money. Sure, this Porsche is not one of the standard fiery red cars that sit in his gigantic museum, but why not change it up every so often? It's not like he doesn't have the money. If only I could afford even one of the cars that he owns.

15 Clueless - Manny Pacquiao

Ok, so I know some people think that Manny is literally the epitome of what a man should be but that doesn't make him a gearhead. He also has some sweet cars like the Ferrari 458 and the Merc SLK, but when one's favorite vehicle in the world is an SUV? I'm sorry but that does not a gearhead make, that's for sure. He has a pretty small collection anyway and spends more time and money on charity. That's at least admirable, so there is that.

14 Gearhead - Lil Wayne

Much as I actually do not really want to say that Lil Wayne is a gearhead, I think it is a little unavoidable. I'm sure there are plenty reading this who do very much enjoy his music, his attitude, and his cars...but everyone here should at least enjoy his cars. I mean...Bugatti Veyron, Bentley Arnage, Rolls-Royce Phantom...Yeah, I think I can at least appreciate a good and pricey chunk of his collection. As for the Cadillac that he's leaning on here? Well, it's nothing compared to the rest.

13 Clueless - Young Jeezy

I'm not sure how many people here are fans of Young Jeezy, but I bet there are enough people here who would be fans of his cars...if he didn't stagger his 20" custom wheels on his Lambo Murcielago. In addition to that, it doesn't help that, when taking out this otherwise pretty exciting and inviting car, he managed to get into a bit of an issue with a taxi cab and totaled his sweet, custom ride. That doesn't sound like a gearhead to me, I have to be honest.

12 Gearhead - T-Pain

Well, here's the thing about T-Pain...I don't quite understand why he would store his Rolls-Royce Phantom in his house, but I guess it is at least safe from the elements there. In addition to this car, he's got a Caddie hearse, and a couple of old school Impalas (very different from a Phantom). That being said...he can at least customize his own cars and that's a gearhead right there. And I have to be fair here, just because he can customize his own cars doesn't mean he does a sweet job, but it does show the initiative required.

11 Clueless - Mariah Carey

Alright, I'm pretty sure that it is just not a surprise to anyone here that Mariah Carey is just not one of those people who knows or cares much about cars. Sure, I bet that she wants to drive a car that looks good but I'm pretty certain that is all she knows about cars. "I want that one because it looks good" is probably what she says when she buys and has someone else drive her wherever she wants to go. That's what happens with millions of dollars and three ill-attempted driving tests.

10 Gearhead - John Cena

I know a lot of people who really do not like John Cena because of just how overrated and ridiculous he most certainly can be. And I would agree with pretty well every single person here on that one. However, that doesn't change the fact that Cena loves muscles cars and sports cars and has had his own car show at one point in time. He was the proud owner of a Ford GT once until he tried to sell it and Ford lost their minds on him.

9 Clueless - Michael Jordan

Well, I'm sure not many people expected that Michael Jordan was much of a gearhead, to begin with. I  mean sure, he's going for a run around the track in this photo but it's not like it's in anything that would lead someone to believe he knows anything about driving or sweet cars. I mean, he does have a pricey Caddie and Merc as well but he's not one to have a car show or much of a showroom and he knows nothing about customizing his rides either.

8 Gearhead - Floyd Mayweather

I know, it's true that just because someone is sitting in a Bugatti Veyron does not mean that they are instantly a gearhead. That isn't the big kicker. However, in addition to the Veyron, Mayweather also has two Rolls-Royce Phantoms as well as a Maybach 62. I mean, he certainly knows his luxury cars as well as his speedy machines too. And after that McGregor fight, it's not like he didn't have the money to buy all of these cars in one go!

7 Clueless - Missy Elliott

There is something that I do have to say to defend Missy Elliot before I tear her down. She does have something of a pretty good car collection. It has got to the point that her mom has actually told her to stop collecting cars. That being said, much like her custom sweatsuits, I think the collection is more about making a statement and a name for herself than her actual care of what the car can do and what's under the hood. I do love her purple Lambo Diablo though. One of my favorite cars.

6 Gearhead - Bill Goldberg

I don't know what people think about this washed up wrestler anymore, but he is still jacked and so too are his muscle cars. He has one mean collection of cars, that's for sure. The Boss 429 Stang, the 1965 Shelby Cobra (even though it's just a replica), a '63 Dodge 330 and a '69 Charger as well. And that's before mentioning the slight removal from the muscle car collection to the '66 Jag XK-ER. He has even got his own Ford racer out there as well.
