Not all celebrities who play big and strong superheroes and superheroines are even remotely that tough in real life. That's not to say that the actors and actresses are without mettle, just that their films persona is a lot different from the real-life truth. What we see in the movies is often a whole lot of CGI and of course, the hard work of the stunt team. They may show the face of the actor or actress as he or she flies through the air while fighting off three supervillains (simultaneously) but the body action is done by a whole other person, their doppelganger stunt guy or gal.

The same goes with all those breathtaking car and bike stunts you see your favorite celebrity doing onscreen. There’s the close-up shot of the actor behind the wheel, or on the handlebars, and then suddenly the shot pans wide. And that’s where the stuntman or woman has stepped in to take up the mantle.

Of course, not every celebrity is physically equipped or even mentally ready to take on taxing stunts. And many are open enough to tell their fans that what they do onscreen is basically the stunt team. That said, there are still a few daredevil actors and actresses out there who have the guts to do it all, with those risky maneuvers and that million-dollar face combined. Here are 15 actors who do their own driving (or riding) and 10 who prefer it be done by the pros.

Via Metro

And he has no qualms about saying the same, as well. After all, he’s a multifaceted actor and not a daredevil.
