Patrick Dempsey is an American actor mostly known for his role as neurosurgeon Dr. Derek Shepherd on Grey’s Anatomy. When he was 12, he was diagnosed with dyslexia. He says that "It’s given me a perspective of – you have to keep working. I have never given up."
His career begun with successful parts in Brighton Beach Memoirs, Torch Song Trilogy and On Golden Pond. In 2002, he found success on the big screen with Sweet Home Alabama. He said that memorizing the lines was difficult, but he enjoyed the benefits of hard work.
Patrick Dempsey loves racing, and he has even competed in Tecate SCORE Baja 1000, 24 Hours of Le Mans and Rolex 24. Nowadays, he owns Dempsey Racing. This is one of the rarest cars in Patrick Dempsey’s collection. This model is hand-built in the US and some components, including the big and powerful V8 engine, came from the Corvette. The car looks eccentric from some angles, but the power is raw and the driving experience is visceral.

Patrick Dempsey got this car when he acted in the 1987 movie Can't Buy Me Love. It was his daily driver for 16 years. The actor says he bought the car off the street from a woman who was doing the sound for the movie. He also said that the price was very low.

1 Ferrari F430 GT2
This Ferrari F430 GT2 was completed and delivered to Patrick Dempsey in 2006. This model raced at one event that year, at the International GT in Barcelona, where it placed 17th overall. Even though the actor likes his Porsches, the Ferrari was the car that started his passion for racing.
