Patrick Dempsey is an American actor mostly known for his role as neurosurgeon Dr. Derek Shepherd on Grey’s Anatomy. When he was 12, he was diagnosed with dyslexia. He says that "It’s given me a perspective of – you have to keep working. I have never given up."
