Haven’t heard of Yiannimize? Well, you should really go and check them out. They are a car customizing channel on YouTube, and their big thing is supercars and vinyl wrapping. And I know a lot of you out there like either one of those things, or perhaps both! So you should go and check them out. Anyway, onto this video of theirs. Yianni from Yiannimize is checking out a custom build of a Lamborghini for one of his friends, the Sian, as it reaches about 95% completion. He goes all the way from Luton, in the UK, to Bologna in Italy to check it out.
The Sian Itself
Yianni has already uploaded a video where he went to spec the car out, but this is all about looking at the car itself. But what is the Sian? Well, it is Lamborghini’s first hypercar and the company hopes it will bring about a new era for their V12 engine, adding hybrid power to optimize the car's performance.
Traditional batteries? Forget those. The Sian uses one huge Supercapacitor to power the electric side of the car. One advantage of this is less weight, as well as an advantage in capturing a short burst of power.
Lamborghini's Hybrid Monster
The V12 itself is a huge 775 bhp. The hybrid power then adds another chunk to bring it out at 805bhp. Insane! Anyway, back to this Sian. This is one of just 63 to be built and is fully carbon fiber. It’s finished in a stunning gray/silver finish.
Yianni's friend and the owner of the car, Enrique, performed the first cold start on this V12 engine, the company’s first hybrid car. This will be the first Sian to enter the UK. There is exposed carbon all over the car, and it pays homage to the legendary Countach. This is potentially one of the most aggressive looking Lamborghini’s ever made.
