In today's automotive landscape, the best-selling vehicles are the ones that can do a bit of everything, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't be fun. LeaseFetcher put out a series of renders showing off what could be some of the most entertaining options in the pickup truck market if companies such as Audi, Jaguar, Tesla, and more chose to make them. If these renders were real, they could easily sell in every market.

Audi TT

Audi brags heavily about the durability and usability of their QUATTRO all-wheel drive system, but could use it to go where no sports car has gone before. The TT is already a fairly usable sports car, featuring over 11 cubic feet as a trunk with the rear seats in place, but as a truck it would do so much more. As shown, a TTRS pickup would dominate off road while echoing it's addictive 5-cylinder engine exhaust off of trees the whole time.

Mega Mini

Back in 2014, MINI teased the world with a Paceman-based pickup truck but said they would never build it. However, a Mini-based pickup would be exactly what the market needs, offering a small platform for versatility and maneuverability while still being usable. With decent ground clearance, a strong turbo engine, and style to spare, the Countryman pickup would be a hit.

BMW i3

For those who want to leave as small a carbon footprint as possible while exploring, this BMW i3 pickup is perfect. With a fairly short wheelbase, rear wheel drive, and instant torque, the i3 pickup actually makes a lot of sense. While range anxiety could be a problem, the range extender would come in handy in the wilderness.

Tesla Model 3

via LeaseFetchers

Midway through 2019, YouTuber Simone Giertz created her own version of Tesla's pickup and named it "Truckla." Although definitely not rugged or off-road ready, a Model 3 pickup would be a good urban workhorse in the city. The instant torque could be a major help in traffic, and a big enough bed would allow this commuter car to be a major player.

Jaguar I-Pace

via LeaseFetchers

The only true SUV on the list, the Jaguar I-Pace electric SUV has proven itself as a more than capable player in the field. The dimensions of the I-Pace already make sense as a truck, and the performance with the truck would be perfect. With a proper combination of electric torque and good ground clearance, the I-Pace pickup would excel in vacation use and light off road use to cabins, ski resorts, or just as an around town truck.
