The Dodge Viper will probably always be one of the most popular sports cars in American history. Even if later models were not as wild as the first edition, they are still wild machines. Even more so when they have been modified into a Street Viper such as this one. There probably aren’t many Vipers out there with 3,000 hp and a 400 shot nitrous but that is exactly what this one brought to TX2K21 by Calvo Motorsports has.

Calvo Motorsports Brought Along Plenty Of Viper Power

Antonio Calvo from Calvo Motorsports spoke to That Racing Channel on YouTube about the Vipers they brought along to the event, with 7 or 8 Vipers altogether, specifically for the roll racing events. The fastest is perhaps unsurprisingly the 3,000-hp monster, which to be exact makes nearly 3,100 hp. The Viper has had the same engine in it for two years, having originally been capped at 2,400 hp but after being pulled out and rebuilt it now produces that insane horsepower figure. But this wasn’t the only Viper they brought to the event.

Viper GTS Completed Its Run Despite Coasting Thanks To Engine Issue

Another one of the incredible cars they brought to the event was a 2014 white Viper GTS that makes 2,600 hp to the tire. That car sadly had an engine issue when the car was on an absolute mission on one of its runs, but it still coasted to a final run speed of 179 mph which is incredibly fast with your engine not running! That shows just how wild and unhinged these Vipers actually are. But there’s nothing like going for a ride in one of these cars, and the guys at That Racing Channel were lucky enough to get the chance to do so.

Viper ACR From 2016 Is Dubbed The "Mad Max" Viper

The car that the guys got a spin in was a 2016 Viper ACR that the Calvo Motorsports guys call the "Mad Max" Viper, thanks to its side-exit exhausts and how loud it is. As you might imagine, the noise from it was pretty ear-shattering and one hell of a ride, but that’s surely the only way to experience one of these Vipers, possibly some of the most hardcore in the United States.
