We probably all dream of owning a car we can go racing with. It is just natural. Because while there is nothing like the thrill of driving your dream car on the open road, being able to unleash the full potential of a car in a racing environment is something we don’t get to do often. However, if you are lucky enough to own this car, you might be able to do that. This is a 1963 Chevrolet Nova that has been modified into a Pro Street drag racer, and it even comes with its own trailer as well and has been listed by AutoHunter.

Currently listed on AutoHunter, this Nova is located in Phoenix, Arizona, and is set to go under the hammer for over $25,000. The modifications this car has gone through are extensive. It features a tubular chassis, a roll cage, and it is now powered by a 433ci Chevrolet Big Block V8 engine that is fitted with a GMC 871 Blower and Nitrous system as well. The body of the car is an original ’63 Nova and it has been finished in a stunning Burnt Orange Metallic. And as you might expect, the Nova also comes fitted with racing seats with multi-point harnesses.

The original panels of the car have been retained, with the exception of the fiberglass hood and decklid. The factory bumpers of the car have also been retained, simply being refinished to match the rest of the body. A rear wing has been fitted to the back, with a DJ parachute located underneath said rear wing. Stepping inside the car and we can see it has been massively stripped back for weight saving, and as well as the Jazz seats it has a centrally mounted emergency break with a full roll-cage protecting the interior. A mount for the nitrous oxide bottle is fitted but you will need to source your own bottle.

Under the hood is where the magic happens, with that Chevrolet big-block V8 feeding all that power through a Hughes Powerglide automatic transmission. The rear end is also fitted with Strange Engineering spool and axles. This car also comes with a fully enclosed Carson trailer, as well as a winch and toolbox for the secure movement of the car, and plenty of tools to get you back on track if anything should go wrong.
