Ever since becoming a part of the Fast & Furious franchise, Vin Diesel has become synonymous with high-powered cars, thrilling chases and an adrenaline rush. Playing the role of Dominic Toretto, Diesel is a celebrity most probably known for being behind the wheel on the silver screen. In real life, though, Diesel owns or has owned several cars. Let’s see his car collection, past and present.

A Fleet Of American Classics

Let’s start from the classics that Diesel owns or has owned. But first, we’ll have to excuse the 1973 Chevrolet Camaro RS-Z28 “F-Bomb.” While Diesel did drive the 1,500-hp F-Bomb (or its replica) on the set of the Fast & Furious, he never owned it – it belongs to Hot Rod editor-in -chief David Freiburger.

Nevertheless, Diesel definitely loves powerful cars of the past – whether it’s a Dodge, a Chevy, a Pontiac or a Plymouth. In fact, Diesel’s classic American car collection includes or included a 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona and a 1970 Dodge Charger R/T (see the F&F connection!). Also count the 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray Grand Sport and the 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle. And oh, let’s not forget his 1966 Pontiac Bonneville, 1970 Plymouth Road Runner and 1974 Plymouth Barracuda.

Wait, There’s More!

Diesel’s latest addition to his classic muscle car collection (as far as I know) arrived in his garage in July 2019. The Fast & Furious family gave him an awesome gift for his 52nd birthday -- a 1970 Dodge Charger "Tantrum." This isn't an ordinary Charger as it’s a custom build by SpeedKore Performance Group and powered by a 9.0-liter Mercury Racing twin-turbo V8 engine delivering a breathtaking 1,650 hp of max output.

By the way, Diesel also owns a modern Charger – a 2011 Dodge Charger SRT-8. This is joined by a sporty 2010 BMW E60 M5 as well as the ultra-rare 2014 Lykan HyperSport. The $3.4-million Hypersport features jewel-embedded headlights as well as titanium LED blades with 420 diamonds. More importantly, it’s powerful – thanks to a 780-hp 3.7-liter twin-turbo flat-six mill.

Japanese Cars Too!

Aside from the above-mentioned cars, Diesel’s collection also includes or included Japanese creations, such as a 1993 Mazda RX-7, a 1994 Toyota Supra and a 2009 Subaru Impreza WRX STI, and more! I wonder what the next addition to his collection will be?!
