Chip Foose seems to have a fascination with the Chevrolet C10 because he’s back with another build on it after he sold off his previous one.

YouTube channel Foose Design uploaded a new video, labeled “Chip's 1967 C10 - Part One” and it promises yet another Foose-tastic build. Here are the details.

Chip Foose Finds Another 1967 C10

This time around, Foose has no intention of touching or modifying the body of the 1967 Chevrolet C10 pickup, and only wants to give it a modern makeover from the insides.

As the YouTube channel wonders, “Will he be able to resist doing a full build or give in and go all out like last time?”

The engine is a 383 small block, married to an American Powertrain Tremec TKX 5-speed transmission. There are nine-inch Baer Brakes for stopping power and a “Custom Magnaflow exhaust featuring a new xMOD modular universal performance muffler with no-drone technology”.

Richard Waitas of Magnaflow Performance Exhaust appears in the video and gives Chip the rundown on the new system and how it is going to work with his plans for the pickup.

There is a ton of work going on the truck to modify it into Chip Foose’s dream ride, all condensed into a 10-minute video. The C10 pickup wears a light blue patina, called Brigade Blue, and bears a white bumper along with chrome strips on the side, looking snazzy as a classic.

Fans seemed to love what he was doing, writing, “I love the fact that Chip gets right in there and works alongside his team. You can tell he loves what he does. That’s something you rarely saw Boyd doing (if at all) and Richard Rollins only drinks his beer and struts around his shop, not that he’s even in the same league as Foose. Keep up the great content, I wish you uploaded more!”

The video ends with a “to be continued” caption, and fans are waiting to see how this C10 ultimately turns out to be.

This Is Not Foose’s First C10 Rodeo

Foose did a complete work-up of a 1967 Chevy C10 earlier in 2018/19 as well.

The custom build had Foose remove the C10 engine and put in a 1967 Camaro Z/28 motor. So he married the engine of a muscle car with the body of a hardy pickup and had a ton of fun while doing so.

The end build was white, with red/orange insides, and ran smoother than butter. The reason why the new build is very exciting for all Foose fans.
