It's not news that Chevy Novas are no more. Well… that’s debatable, but as far as factory production of Nova is concerned, Chevrolet finally ended it in 1988. That wasn’t the best of news for Nova enthusiasts who would have wanted the model in their fleet for as long as they possibly could, and even worse off for the younger generation Nova lovers who had hoped they’d someday grow up to own the latest offerings of this iconic car.

Having been introduced in 1962, the Nova remained the top trim for Chevy II compact for a long while. Also, the model survived internal competitions from the likes of Chevelle and Corvair, as well as external competition from Ford’s Falcon to remain a Chevrolet icon.

However, due to its significance, there’s a glimmer of hope for both young and old Nova enthusiasts, as aftermarket shops are helping loyalists have a second go at the vintage model through modification as seen with these attention-grabbing examples.
