What does John Wick and The Matrix have in common? They both feature sweet rides, epic actions scenes that almost everyone came to love, and both share the same actor in Keanu Reeves as their main protagonist. The Canadian-born actor is one of Hollywood's best-paid thespians, and he makes enough to fund one of his best hobbies; collecting motorcycles.
Automotive collectors are one bunch of interesting folks. Once you start your collecting journey, there is no end or satisfaction. You will always be on the lookout for the next best vehicle to add to your garage, and sometimes they have to fork over six figures to land their prize. Celebrity collectors like Jay Leno, Jay Kay, or hypercar collector Manny Khoshbin boast many cars from different eras. Keanu, on his part, loves his motors on two wheels, and at one point, he had more than 15 motorcycles in his garage. These are the coolest motorcycles in Keanu Reeves' collection.
10 1973 Norton Commando 850 MK2A
Norton's motorcycles are aesthetically pleasing, and they are known for their dynamic handling and speed. The British motorcycle maker earned respect and recognition after releasing the world's first production superbike, the 1969 Norton Commando. It premiered Norton's new isolastic suspension, a groundbreaking innovation back then. Keanu now owns the 1973 model of the Norton Commando 850 MK2A.
Old as it is, you will not find the distinct feeling and sensation Keanu gets when riding the Commando on any newer bikes. This bike was the second Keanu ever bought, and many Nortons have followed over the years.
9 2004 Ducati 998 Matrix Reloaded Edition
This bike is arguably one of the finest motorcycles in Keanu Reeves' collection. The green custom Ducati was inspired by the Matrix Reloaded Film. Ducati is like the Ferrari of superbikes, making it one of the most coveted motorcycle brands by enthusiasts. Most models also cost an arm and a leg and are exclusive to the select few. That is why a Ducati is always a must-have for any serious collector.
This Ducati is even more special since it appeared in the Matrix movie, where Keanu's co-star, Carrie-Ann Moss, as Trinity, rode it on top of a moving truck.
8 1974 BMW R57/6
Not many people know that BMW is as good at producing cool motorcycles as they make awesome cars. One of their products, a 1974 BMW R57/6, graces Keanu's motorcycle collection. We think it is one of the coolest pieces he owns, thanks to its aesthetics and riding position, making for an enjoyable and head-turning ride.
With a 750-cc motor, the big and clunky motorcycle provides enough thrills to make Keanu a happy rider. Also, we believe it has the sweet soundtrack that is synonymous with a proper 70s bike.
7 1984 Harley Shovelhead
The 80s were solid years for Harley, as they released some bikes that made the hippy years nostalgic. Now, if you must have a cruiser in your collection, there is a high chance that it will be a Harley-Davidson. The brand is true and tested and is famous with Hollywood stars and productions alike. Keanu is not left behind as he owns the beautiful 1984 Harley-Davidson Shovelhead.
Just like riding any classic Harley, Reeves must enjoy taking his Shovelhead out for a ride on a nice sunny day with the wind blowing his hair into his eyes in addition to the raw vibrations and smells of the asphalt. Simply breathtaking.
6 Kawasaki KZ 900
These were not necessarily the quickest bikes able to eat up the twisties, but they offered a comfortable, laid back ride. The KZ 900 is such a bike. This bike helps reveal Keanu's preferred taste in bikes; with a handful of classics in his collection, we can only conclude that he likes periodic motor masterpieces.
While filming away from home, Keanu bought the KZ 900 on one of his outings. The bike was simple but provided a deceptively quiet, with a spirited rustle at idle and a smooth power delivery through traffic.
5 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R
Kawasaki's ZX-10R helped the Japanese match its superbike rivals thanks to input from Kawasaki Racing Team that has won the past World Superbike Championship titles. And each year, they keep improving the bike, which is quite attainable compared to the more exotic competition. That is why it is a fitting toy that you will find in Keanu's collection.
While Keanu seems to prefer the laid-back, comfortable rides, he ought to take on the track once in a while to test and push his riding skills to the limit. This ZX-10R is one of the track-ready bikes he owns.
4 2019 Arch KRGT-1
Buying many motorcycles isn't enough for Keanu. That is why he set up a custom motorcycle shop called Arch Motorcycles to take his passion to the next level. Arch is run by an obsession for innovative design, engineering excellence and a rider first approach. The outlandish level of build quality is visible in the KRGT-1.
The bike carries plenty of cruiser DNA, but it rides unlike any other cruiser in the market. It is filled with custom parts that are carefully selected to make it the ultimate performance cruiser. You will need $85,000 to own one.
3 2019 Arch 1S
While the KRGT-1 is an outright performance cruiser, the Arch 1S is more like its sportier version, at least going by Keanu's admission. Compared to the KRGT-1, it handles and feels different with a more engaging riding position. The Arch 1S is open to ambiguity when you place it in a specific motorcycle category.
But the Arch 1S is not a full-blown track monster with superbike lap times. Rather, it is a more unhurried ride that switches up and provides a more intense rush on the road.
2 2019 Arch Method 143
Since Keanu Reeves owns Arch Motorcycles, you can expect him to own several products himself. How else will he convince customers to fork out the premiums they slap on the bikes? That is why it is no surprise Keanu owns the latest addition to the Arch Motorcycle lineup. The Arch Method 143 is an embodiment of the boutique shop's vision with impeccable craftsmanship and precision.
The flagship cruiser is limited to just 23 copies. It features futuristic design cues to make it arguably the coolest looking performance cruiser yet. Also, it features in the Cyberpunk 2077 game, in which an animated Keanu Reeves makes an appearance.
1 El Diablo West Coast Chopper
Few motorcycles will turn as many heads as a good chopper like the El Diablo, and these custom bikes have been part of pop culture for decades. West Coast Choppers custom designed, built, painted, and engraved a black El Diablo for Reeves. With an estimated price of $150,000, it is one of the most valuable assets to enter Keanu's garage.
The California-based motorcycle maker only makes bikes for celebrities, with only a handful of high-value bikes produced per year. Keanu Reeves is one of their proud high profile celebrity customers.
