Though it may carry Mazda Miata-X's underpinning, it does have a few pieces of equipment of its own. This includes its very own suspension tuning, engine, and transmission. This is also one of the most affordable yet thrilling sportscars. According to Fiat, their 2021 sportscar will sell for an MSRP of $28,195.

via Yahoo News

As if the Chevrolet Camaro wasn't awesome enough, the makers decided to keep their units updated with their customers' changing needs. The in-car Apple Carplay and Auto Android are now completely wireless. The color palettes are also tweaked for much bolder choices.

The transmission also received a few changes which can be seen in the Camaro's SS 1LE model. From a good six-speed manual transmission, it now comes with a 10-speed automatic one. There hasn't been any confirmed news yet when it comes to pricing.

7 2021 Dodge Challenger

via The Drive

There's no car enthusiast in the world who wouldn't get nostalgic when it comes to one of the best Dodge performance cars, the Challenger.

While Edmunds says there isn't much of a leap for the Challenger's 2021 version, we can expect that this magnificent piece of machinery has a variety of engines to offer. The interior remains comfy, spacious, and stylish. It's also practical even though it remains competitive in terms of horsepower. According to Edmunds, they estimate the latest Dodge Challenger's price to be somewhere between $28,000 to $77,000.

6 2021 Mazda Miata

via Digital Trends

Mazda Miatas come with a dramatic look that no other sportscar can compete with - maybe it's the curves at the front? maybe it's the rims? We don't really know. But whatever it is, it undoubtedly makes the Miata one of the best Mazda road cars ever.

Although there is no solid date as to its release, it may very well be expected sometime around early 2021. That is if the previous release dates are taken into consideration. Pricing is also unknown but is expected to range from $28,000 to $35,000.

5 2021 Nissan 400Z

via AutoPartMax

The 400Z is just one of many cars that Nissan offers from its old lineup. And though it's one of the less common choices for a sports car, this lineup is actually as competitive as it gets. For the 2021 update, the 400Z is rumored to get its engine from the Infiniti Q60. That means it will be running on a twin-turbocharged 3.0L V6 engine

As far as rumors get, this Nissan will continue to have the same seven-speed transmission though the chance of a six-speed AT is also out there. There have also been hints of retro styling on their Youtube teaser so that's another thing we're hoping for.

10 years into the production life of the Toyota 86 and it remains to be one of the most consumer-friendly sports cars in the industry. It was in September last 2019 when the update for the Toyota 86 was first confirmed.

Though it won't be receiving too many tweaks, buyers can expect a higher torque of roughly 156 lbs-ft. The first peak at the 2021 Toyota 86 was first expected to be this fall, however, the launch is now expected to be sometime in March 2021.

3 2021 Toyota Supra

via Motor1.com

The current Toyota Supra was a fine vehicle in itself. It's a lot of fun to drive and gives the occupants a feeling of adventure and luxury at the same time. So it's a surprise that Toyota even had an update for it.

But for its 2021 version, Supra is expected to be available in eight dashing color choices. Two of these colors - namely Refraction, a blue and black bi-tone, and Nocturnal, a pitch-black hue - will only be offered in 500 units each. It also had other changes as Matt Farah tested. Automobilemag says it could cost an estimated amount of $40,000 upon release.

2 2021 Volkswagen Jetta GLI

via cars 2021

After the Jetta's redesign from 2019 to 2020, it gives us very little to expect since the makers almost had nothing new to add. The 2021 update is highly suspected to be a carryover of the entire lineup in the previous years. The current design features a thin dash and an LCD gauge cluster. It also carries a premium interior look despite the unappealing exterior design. There hasn't been any news yet as to the specific release of the latest VW Jetta GLI but CarsDirect says that it's bound to be at the end of 2020.

1 2021 Kia Stinger

via Yahooo News Singapore

It's surprising that Kia went it with their sportscar idea. Just looking at the German competitors and one would think that Kia lost all the courage. Surprisingly, The Stinger actually put up quite a fight in terms of performance, even if it was low in sales.

But the company's design boss promised that there would be major changes - all in the hopes of generating higher sales. A camouflaged version of the Stinger was already seen roaming the streets around April this year. The actual release is expected sometime at the end of 2020.
