The world of car renderings is an interesting place. It allows artists' minds to be fully articulated in a way in which a car manufacturer itself simply would not dare. There is no way you are going to see a Chevrolet Blazer modeled like this. In fact, Chevrolet is the topic of this rendering we are featuring. Talented Czech-based artist Rostislav Prokop has created this wonderful mashup, featuring the Chevrolet Corvette C1 mixed up with the Chevrolet Corvette C7. This is a mashup that Chevrolet themselves probably would not dare to create.

A Rather Bizarre Looking Creation

It is probably fair to say that this creation is going to seriously polarize a lot of people. The front end is a particular area of puzzlement as we take a look at this car. We can see the majority of it seems to be the C1 Corvette, particularly the top half. But as we move down, we can clearly see a much larger grille with the lower half of the front fascia looking extremely like that of the C7. The two halves are separated by some bodywork which gives the car an almost serrated tooth-like appearance.

Unusual Shark Fin Section

One of the more unusual parts of this rendering can be seen at the rear. We aren’t sure where exactly the inspiration for it came from, but looking at the back there is quite a sizeable shark fin. Behind the shark fin can be seen an insane quadruple exhaust setup with the rear end of the car definitely looking a bit more Corvette C1 than Corvette C7. The shark fin that is so present at the rear of the car might be too much for some however, but it certainly stands out.

A Wild Ride

This is surely one of the most unreal and wild renderings of Prokop’s. It is probably going to divide opinion but no one can deny the effort and quality of the work that he has put into this design. From some angles, it does look rather elegant and we can see where the two eras of Corvette are molded. However, it might prove to be a bit too wild for some people's tastes. Many of us though have wondered what different cars from different eras might look like blended into one, and it looks like we have the answer.
